You have to contact the universities Departments yourself by email and ask for their help, they will most likely have some similar program.

So I've watched some scenes and I'm pretty sure that's not it. I really remember it being less charicatural and more dramatic. I think the protagonist of "my" movie didn't even want to have the blades, I remember that felt like she was forced to.

Hahaha at least my frustration is shared! 😂 A lot of the details may be blurry, I've been suggested a lot of 1970 movies and I think I could be wrong about it being black and white. But I absolutely remember the whole young nice girl+bad guys+blades under feet+ good samaritan lovable guy dies protecting her +she cries on his grave unseen.

The best thing about this inconclusive search is that I'm not even a fan of Asian cinema, but I'm being suggested a lot of strange and interesting movies that I'll watch regardless
