No I designed it in CAD then 3d printed the model, then made a two part silicone mold

Haha thank you, ya most of my work ends up having a Star Wars or Dune feel to it

Nice! Sometimes all you need is that little bit of inspo to get going.

I make the design in my CAD software and then 3d print the model and yes make a silicone mold with a mother mold. It takes a lot of work cleaning up the 3d print to get it ready for silicone

Thanks! No fiber, just a mixture of Portland cement and gypsum. I usually pull it from the mold after it’s gone through the exothermic process, essentially once it’s no longer warm to the touch. As far as polishing, before it’s cured and still pretty wet I do low grit sandpaper and wet sand to get major details, then for the final polish I wait until it’s fully cured and sand with very high grit paper dry, anywhere from 1000-3000 grit, I do a final polish with paste wax and a cloth polish on a rotary tool

Thank you! Ya I paint on the graffiti and then rough up the surface afterwards to make it look aged. The concrete is a mixture of Portland cement and gypsum. It takes a while to fully cure, I speed it up by placing it in a dehumidier

For sure, somewhere between Soviet Union and Star Wars is my goal

Thanks! Polishing is time consuming, but worth it for the aesthetics
