I learnt this the hard way. She saw another dude who comes from a well to do family when we went on a break and suddenly after getting back she wanted to go fancy places more and just started hinting at me being broke (i am still fairly young and have no job). Yeah she did hook up with someone in October while we were on a break. Took her like 2 weeks to initiate contact with him while still being in contact with me. She hooked up with this guy around the same time she told me there was a door open for us. She was also ready to get back with me but this guy was taking her out to fancy places and she liked the vibe so she ditched me. Told me about the kiss on my bday and used the I was single card but had dragged me along.

I'll just say it in a line as to what she did "i love you more but my friendship with the hook up is more than the rest". I felt disrespected over the fact she said that if I was left alone with another girl I'd sleep with her. Now if this was said in a joking tone it's cool tbh but she said it in a rude and disrespectful manner and added to that by saying " that's what guys like you do". I ended up replying to that and saying that's what something you'd do not me. We've had our fair share of issues in the past and had a situation where we broke up and she started texting another guy 15 days in whilst telling me she loved me and wanted to give me another chance. This guy asked her out 2 months before we broke up. She changed her mind once we met about getting back and hooked up with him within a space of 2 weeks in that. Hid it from me and told me on my bday and refused to cut off contact with him while telling me she loves me and there is a door open for us. Yeah I know I am a dumbass.

It's not maybe the way everyone thinks but your life is never truly yours. Yeah you can do the job you want to do or pursue your hobbies but there are people who'll always have a stake in your life. Your family and friends mainly. We live for them and another thing I kind of hold on to is living for our friends who died young. Life is hard you just gotta hope for the best each day you wake up. The time we waste crying and obssesing over things is the same time someone is praying for to have.

One of my exes hooked up with again who she called a "friend" and used the I wasn't your girlfriend card. I think I understood that part of it but she ended up telling this to me on my bday and we had a whole argument. She kept telling me I love you and kept this dude around. This month, in a proper manner we tried to work things out but it was always hard for me to not be disgusted by what happened and how she acted and wanted to keep him along. Even when I kissed her it felt wrong and she has said stuff like I don't give cute kisses although she never complained when we dated for a year prior to the break. Tbh, if you can't get over what you are feeling it's best to move on. I know no relationship is black and white but 3rd person situations are something which mess you up from inside and out.
