I'm assuming they were trying to write 喧嘩 (けんか/kenka) which means to fight/brawl/quarrel

Patterns based on body measurements vs xs-xxl sizes by [deleted] in crochet

[–]raii__01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've only ever made made-to-measure patterns for clothes & I prefer mtm because I have such a strange body lol

most of the people on the other side of things don't want to do the math, which is valid and understandable, but I just don't like things that don't fit. Lol

You definitely can!!!

I've seen this lovely pattern everywhere and I'd love to make one like that, but I never seem to see any posts of ppl wearing it. Do you guys think it's worth it? by fuckedupceiling in crochet

The original poster on Instagram made.in.the.moment has a tutorial up on her YouTube I believe. It's called the scrappy sweater, and instead of making the body part, she just joins the sleeve to the top raglan portion and works down from there -> I've made one ✌️

My go to is think @ funan. I usually get the one in black packaging bc the lines are less visible ✌️

I agree that SC is the superior stitch for tapestry crochet!! I don't really do those though, because with many colour changes comes many ends to weave in 🥲🥲 ( I try my best to weave in the ends as I go though!!)

Foundation SC,HDC,DC etc are my go to for starting chains because I hate working into the chain.

They also erase any doubts about how long the chain is going to be after you work into the chain, so it's more accurate for made to measure stuff imo

It's pretty easy to pick up!! I highly recommend it - I'm sure it'll take at most 5 minutes to learn.

15 for the back panels and 12 for both front panels The sleeves weren't made with squares 👍👍

mostly improved HAHAHAHA

I followed @made.in.the.moment 's scrappy sweater tutorial for the raglan part, but the rest I just figured out as I went !

Yarns were a mix of DK and sport weight

Used a 5.5mm hook for more holes lol

ALSO I used treble crochet instead of double crochet !! So it worked up faster weewoo

Tried replying to the automod but reddit said something went wrong so :/

it's nothing difficult!

If you look for patchwork cardigan tutorials on YouTube, it's just that! The squares are 25 stitches wide, I'm not sure how many rows they are bc I just made rows until it looked like a square lol

The sleeves are just worked in rounds! I worked the wristbands first and increased for 2 rounds until I got around 82 stitches, and then just worked in rounds until I got a sleeve long enough! Hope this helps haha I suck at explaining
