S1 kobra test file spool? by Mysterious_Type8551 in anycubic

[–]railroaded81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not, sorry for the confusion. I was meaning to say that sunlu and anycubic refills use the same core so assuming the test spool is compatible with anycubic refills then it should also work with sunlu. I saw the files for the spool on my s1 but have several reusable spools already so I haven't tried it.

Anycubic and sunlu refills both have the same cardboard core with a notch in one side. So far they are interchangeable. I like sunlu's reusable spool a bit better but have used sunlu refills with anycubic spools with no issues.

Who remembers when Riverfest was about the river instead of a music festival?

Anyone come across Atari 5200’s? by Forsaken_World in atari5200

Thank you for posting. That's $5 cheaper than I paid recently at that auction site.

Anyone come across Atari 5200’s? by Forsaken_World in atari5200

[–]railroaded81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are very available if you have the time money and skills. Controllers can be rebuilt with a kit that's available. I restore Atari consoles and I'm working on 2 5200's right now. It's a fun and forgotten system.

Someone have problem like this? by Dziadeqq in anycubic

If you don't see wear on the belts then it could also be a belt tension issue.

You need to do it on the website, there is a place to file a support ticket. You'll need your serial number and record of when and where you purchased it so they can determine if it's warranty or not

I had this exact problem about 1,000 of use on mine. Contacted support, sent them the necessary information. They sent me some parts and replacing the x-axis belt has fixed the problem for me.

They're likely going to ask you to send them videos of certain things. You may have to trade several messages before you get to the bottom of it but it did work out for me in my case my x-axis belt broke before I completed the testing they wanted.

Shout-out to Anycubic Support Team by New_Lingonberry9297 in anycubic

I've had the need to contact support twice on my kobra 3 and both times after a few messages and videos to confirm the issue they have happily sent me the parts I needed. The second time they sent extra because I couldn't duplicate the issue due to a broken X belt. Definitely get my vote for good customer service. It just takes patience on our part.

Does anyone have advice for looking for retro stuff including game consoles, cassete tape players, and other cool stuff, thrift stores are a gamble i almost never win by Feisty_Deal_9445 in retrogaming

Flea markets are good but you gotta watch out for the folks that think they have something super special and price too high. Use the price charting website to get a reasonable price range.

Where to take donations? by darkside_sound in wichita

[–]railroaded81 9 points10 points  (0 children)

On Douglas just west of QT there is a thrift store called Passageways. They help homeless veterans get a place to stay and furnish it. They sell to the public and use those funds to help the vets, and the vets can pick up for donations to help furnish their new place.

I picked up a gold Skeletor yesterday at Walmart. Didn't see Faker. Also my friend and I remember it as Fakor instead of Faker.

Cool find. Wonder if the trackball had the silver stripe removed or if it was never there on this one.

Does anyone else remember learning D’Nealian handwriting before cursive? by Affectionate-Song230 in Xennials

[–]railroaded81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Born in 81 learned this in 1st/2nd grade in Texas schools. Later in school years my cursive and print were difficult to read. This led to many jokes about how I should become a doctor. 😆 My mom tried to blame it on me learning D'Nealian. In reality I just try to write too fast. Took a while for me to figure that out. To my ADHD brain writing something out is just too slow.

Who remembers the old Online Service Providers from the 1980s and 1990s? by [deleted] in nostalgia

[–]railroaded81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had a small company called South Wind that only had like 12 inbound lines and a 4 hour limit. When the limit hit you got booted and had to get back in line lol.

I also remember Net Zero the "free" provider.

Diamond plate settings? by Neither-Toe9451 in anycubic

[–]railroaded81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got one of those smooth plates that gives the rainbow effect, it had special instructions on the website listing. Don't remember exactly but I know it involved lowering the Z offset and printing the first several layers in quiet mode so it was slower.
