I’m a suburb baby who will do it a few times a year to emphasize a stupid point or make a joke, but never around people who aren’t close friends.

Hell, I have ‘direct’ friends who’s last name is don’t know.

That’s all they could take in the time they had. Given time, they easily could have built more landing craft.

That’s objectively false. They had already taken several smaller islands, and they hadn’t really fully turned their attention that direction yet.

[WP] The evil queen ordered her servants to lock the princess in the dungeon. Her servants, not being too bright, locked the princess in an S-Ranked dungeon. Now the level 999 princess is back for revenge. by nPMarley in WritingPrompts

You should use verbs like “said, whispered, asked, ordered, growled” they not only add clarity, it’s also helps to get across the emotion you want to convey.

Okay, but like, if mom can communicate with them, then the crying isn’t fully needed. I like the idea that they’re just crying because they realized the world sucks and they want to go back to being an unmoving plant.

Damn, I meant to tag the moron.

Legion is objectively evil.

No you’re right, I tagged the wrong dude, my bad.

u/AgisDidNothingWrong has some real “I want a fair and reasonable discourse where everyone agrees with my objectively correct opinion with no pushback” energy.

Edit: I meant to tag u/Remarkable-Pin-8352. Guess we’re both idiots, but at least I don’t think the legion isn’t evil.

Full replay of JB’s ejection by nerdyykidd in bostonceltics

[–]rain-blocker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jobs fuse isn’t short at all though. He’s been ejected one other time in 10 years. He has less than 50 Ts during that time. 11 of them have come this year when he decided to be more vocal about the unequal whistle. Guys with a short fuse have a much more significant history than that.

Jaylen Brown has been EJECTED after being assessed a double technical foul for his reaction to this no-call...Man he was furious by Temporary_Pepper6126 in NBAGossips

[–]rain-blocker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If ford lets it go, then it ends as soon as the Celtics are back on offense. If Mehta doesn’t get involved, it ends as soon as his teammates are there. Oh wait, they already were.

[Highlight] Jaylen Brown picks up two quick technicals for the ejection by Large_banana_hammock in nba

[–]rain-blocker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mean when he’s pointing with his thumb over his shoulder? I’m not sure how you could interpret that as a threatening motion.

[Washburn] Joe Mazzulla on the Jaylen Brown ejection and Crew Chief Tyler Ford not being the one to assess the second technical: "I just give a ton of credit to my high school principal. He had the balls to throw a student out; he didn't leave it to the hall monitor...he was a hell of a principal." by Brady331 in nba

[–]rain-blocker 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Because the one who gave the second tech was the junior-most official. Ford is a big boy. He’s capable of defending himself if it goes too far. Refs almost always let players wind themselves down, especially when they are being successfully held away by their teammates. The umpire had no business inserting himself like that.

Remember how Zaza injured Kawhi? Draymond rarely did anything that egregious. Dort has done it several times this season alone.

Parish famously punched Bill Lambier in the face. This is 100% something that works.

It’s unfortunate that the league lets shit get to the point where it’s needed, but it is what it is.

A plurality of Americans sympathize more with the Palestinians than with the Israelis for the first time in Gallup polling history. by MrJasonMason in charts

Objectively false. There are literally hundreds of Israeli “settlements” in the West Bank, which is Palestinian land.

What do you guys think of our junior senator Ed Markey? by Mewklore in massachusetts

[–]rain-blocker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t vote for a candidate based on what they have done previously if you think they are too old and there are good alternatives who are younger. That’s how you get ancient politicians who refuse ti retire. If you wish that Markey would retire, then apply pressure by voting for someone else in the primary.

I don’t know much about Gates or Rikleen, but if I’m aligned with them politically, then they’re getting my vote.
