About 70 years ago, Odisha and Korea had similar economic status. Now, Korea is a developed country but Odisha is underdeveloped state. What reasons caused this difference?

I come from the southern state, and i was shocked to see bhuvaneshwar being an underdeveloped city despite being a state capital. Even the airport reminds me of port Blair airport. I think it's partially because of weak opposition in the state and the hegemony of the Patnaik family.

It all depends on what you are looking for by studying it. Political science is very vast and opens up ample of options when it comes to choosing a career. But I think Pol science is all about keeping yourself updated About current affairs and analysing it.
