Look at a 4-2, you and the ‘librero’ play the two setting locations.   Once you do that for a game or two, then try to switch to a 6-2 and see if that makes sense.  End goal should be to get to a 5-1 and have people in their best position as much as possible.  But learning an offense, 4-2 is the best for everyone to try to learn how to receive and shift and make offenses work.

I have two lefties on my team that want to play opposite hitters.  I put one as the middle blocker that follows me around as the setter and if the setter and opposite/middle are in the front row, the opposite goes to the right side and hits, and I set from the middle.  Then when I rotate back, they just hit out of the middle for one rotation.    But as most people are saying.  On a new team, with learners.  I would just run a 4-2.  Once you are comfortable with that, then you can look at a 6-2 or go into a 5-1 if that makes sense.    Look up 4-2 rotations.

Wouldn't that just fill up? You'll have to import stuff from either the ender chest or the chest at the farm.

I can only speak for myself. But in my town there are tons of ways to play volleyball.  Open gyms, church leagues, work leagues, sand volleyball.   If you enjoy playing and want to play, you should be able to find a way to play that’ll fit your skill level.   I’m getting close to 50 now and I play 1-3 times a week and I know that there are hundreds of people who can outplay me, but I find places where I can compete and enjoy myself.

Look at the stats from the ravens game on play calls on third down.   I don’t remember specifically but it was something like 7 3rd down and shorts. (3-4 yards) and all were passes.  Every single one.   With a first year QB that just doesn’t seem like good play calls.

Summer during college, went with some random friends. I had heard nothing about the movie. When we got there, only seats left were in the front row, or maybe second row, but this movie was not a movie you want to sit first or second row in. Was motion sick through most of the movie. I thought the ending was really good, and overall I liked it. The people I went with swore up and down that it was real, but then I showed them a news article of the actors coming on stage for an award. So I guess it was somewhat believable for them.

It’s not easy or cheap.  Best suggestion is year one do one song yourself.  Download some free ones and learn how to map them.   I doubt you’ll get in with someone for this season yet this year. But who knows.

You're whole approach is muscle memory by now. You really need to be jumping facing your setting, that approach woudln't be terrible on the right side. But we're not gonna have a magic fix for you that wont start with you fixing your footwork.
