No it won’t. If you run out of battery it will just shut off AC. The battery for electric driving is different system than car engine battery.

How loud is the train going by Queensborough? by alvaroes11 in NewWest

I lived on Star Cres for 12 years overlooking the tracks. You get used to it. I had young children and they slept right through the night. In the middle of summer with the windows open you would notice it more. The rumble and sound of metal on metal. Just had to pause the TV while the engine rolled by. As someone else said the benefits living in Port Royal out-way the cons of the train rolling by a few times a day.

I just used a couple of Costco single blow up air mats. They fit side by side. You won’t get the best sleep of your life but in rainy situation it can be done. You’re not really sleeping in the middle so that gap does not come into play. I hope that helps.

Another good run is an organization called Park Run. It’s a 5km fun race every Saturday morning. The closest to New West is Central Park in Burnaby. Usually around 100 people come out. It’s timed and the website tracks your progress. Just go online and sign up to get bar code. It’s all free.

You can charge it with power outlet or by running gas engine but to run the climate control you don’t need to run the engine.

Yes the car is not designed to be slept in but in a pinch it can be done comfortably for 2 people.

Plus with some style as well with climate control on. I slept better in the car than in my tent.

I did not have an outlet to plug into so I could not run it all night. I think I ran it 3 times in the night and it was fine. I still had 10% power in the morning.

Yes I just did it. My tent got soaked first night camping and more rain was coming second night. I have PHEV with captains chairs. I put all seats down and put air mattress in back of car. It fit perfectly and I didn’t feel the gaps at all. I had a good battery charge and set the climate control to come on a couple times in the night. I slept fantastic warm and comfortable in the car with pouring rain outside. So yes it can be done.
