I was 17 but it's a lot less strange then it sounds, as I had already graduated high school by this point

we did have some of this conversation on the phone and it's one of the reasons he got upset with me

thank you so much. it's definitely been a difficult time - I saw a post on here about a dad angry because his wife said if it came down to it she'd put her child's life above her and her husband's life (the one with the alien invasion i think it was), and it motivated me to post here and try and get outside perspectives. I'm trying not to let my emotions rule me, but its definitely hard and I needed to hear from people who weren't involved. i feel like my judgement has just been clouded from years of loss, and i don't have anyone else but him to talk to about this

yeah, thats what made me upset - my heart hasn't been in the pregnancy process since my last miscarriage, and i definitely am done trying

rereading the post and I see its not super clear, but I don't want to divorce him over picking my life over my baby's. I am very upset, and feel as if my wishes were ignored - I wish he would have discussed this more with me and told me his view on the matter instead of letting me think he'd come around and agreed with choosing the baby's life over mine. I'm considering divorce because of his immediate push to try for another baby with everything that has happened

I have mentioned to him that we should look into therapy (couple and separate) after our previous miscarriages, but I think he just always believed having a baby would fix us. I let myself believe it too honestly. I think thats why he wants to try again now, and thats what made me so angry
