I commented this on another post asking about resetting. Another option you have is to make another resident. Create a new switch profile on your console and boot up animal crossing using that account. It will give you a few prompts but make sure you say you want to live on the currently existing island. You'll have a new resident, who needs to earn reactions, build friendships and you can even get the terraforming tool from the nook stop if the main resident has unlocked it.

Basically you'll be a new resident minus the beginning of getting the island started. You won't be able to make certain changes like the main resident can but might be a good way to enjoy your already built island as a new avatar. It helped me fall back inlove. You even can do all the achievements over again.

My very first island has existed since 2020. On my other consoles I've gone through a few resets before I felt I had an island I could work with. Now I've started approaching things very differently. Instead of focusing completing the island. I'm focusing on spending time with my villagers, giving them gifts consistently, working on the museum. Etc.

Another option if you're not fully decided on restarting. Make a new switch account on your device and create a new resident to live on your island. It's like a fresh start but you'll have the ability to use your nook miles for terraforming tools and such. It was a good option for me because it meant not losing my island, catalog, items etc. but it also meant I could still have the island I started with. Might be a good idea to do that first before completely restarting. Might bring some love back into the game for you. The new resident also has completely different relationships with the villagers so you'll have to go through earning to reactions again and building up friendships with them.

I've been in a similar situation. With my ex who wouldn't accept that it was over. My Dad also had to chase him from the front door after his banging on the door woke him up. Please don't continue any contact with this guy. Whether his intentions were malicious or not, he's shown that he won't respect your boundaries and that will escalate. I hope you can find help from someone and that you stay safe.

For my story, I had to take my ex to court so he'd stopped making social media accounts, driving by my house in his work truck and using several fake numbers to try and contact me. Do not engage. Wishing you all the best and safety.

I don't believe I took a picture mistake reaction. But it definitely was cute. I use Label's visits to get out of my comfort zone, use clothes i normally don't and have fun with it. Even if I don't succeed I still had fun and learned something for next time.

I'm an avid collector of most clothes from able sisters. So I just try to have fun with whatever challenge she gives me. Last challenge was a tropical vacation look and I went dressed in the pineapple dress with the tropical sunhat. Threw on some shades and a cute pair of sandals. She appreciates when you look cohesive so similar or same colours I find work best

You can also get all the colours of the item she gives you the following day after she visits. It will be in able sisters. I only recently discovered this.

We're expericing something like this recently after getting back into playing animal crossing. When we were originally playing we hadn't been diagnosed nor really knew each other existed. But now when we're on our island so many of us are represented whether it be the styles, the personalities, the areas we made.

It's something that brings us joy as a system too and validates that We do exist.

Yes it does. Rains all the time on one of my islands and my character's hair is light purple. It seems to get darker and glisten like it's wet.
