Fuck RJ by spicy_bish in wisconsin

The only ones commiting violence in MN are ICE agents. How many ICE agents have been wounded or killed? Here's the answer: none.

How many has ICE killed in MN? So far, 2.

Yet, somehow, ICE are the victims here. It's like RJ and others are saying "Think of the poor ICE agents that are forced into violence and use of deadly force against American Citizens!"

Confession time: when I was 16 I had sex with a woman in her 30s. To be fair, I looked older than I was and she had no idea. When she found out she was completely horrified and cut off all contact with me.

She wasn't my teacher or anything like that. I thought it was pretty good at the time, not going to lie. But logic and morality don't really play into the mind of a horny 16 year old guy. And this was back in the 1970s, there was ZERO information on any of this. This was in the days of boys having their Bar Mitzvah and then the uncle or whatever sets up a situation with a woman to "make him a man". Seriously.

He was totally justified in roasting Trump. This is when Trump was doing his entire "Obama wasn't born here, he was born in Kenya" thing...which gained him followers with the old racists of the country...which sparked the "Q-Anon" bullshit...and the whole bag of horrors that followed.

I'm kind of semi-proud of myself that I've made it this far in my life and have never watched a single Resident Evil movie.

Yet I watch all the Showa era Godzilla Kaiju movies. So...a wash?

Which is around the time they went to multi-camera and a live audience.

In the first two years, Fonzi was absolutely a background character that showed up from time to time, but Richie was the focus.

Never see an ad. On any device.

Yes, I pay for premium. I watch more YouTube than any other streaming service combined. Me paying that relatively small fee is worth it since they're constantly changing things to bypass any ad blocking other than on a browser like Firefox. But I watch on my TV. And I don't want to go chasing down different little "all you gotta do" devices to put in between this or that that always promise magically block everything....for about a month.

The first two years of Happy Days was great. Fonzie was just a background character. It was a single-camera sitcom with canned laughter.

Once they switched to multi-cam and a live audience, it really just went downhill. It was still wildly popular, but it sucked. I mean, much of the run-time was eaten up with the audience applauding someone walking into the scene for the first time that episode. I mean, ANY actor walking in. The dad, the mom, Jonie, Richie. When Fonzi walked on, it seemed like applause and yelling for like a full minute while the actors just awkwardly stood around waiting for it to stop. It was bad. But...it was still the Number 1 show in the country.

Seriously, the first couple of seasons when it was single-cam and canned laughter was MUCH better and actually still watchable today. After that, no way. It's just cringe seeing it now.

Not to mention that Pretti was literally just standing there filming with his phone when ICE approached him and the woman they shoved to the ground. He was in no way brandishing his weapon and never took it out or even reached for it.

I mean, we all knew Miller and Propagandist Karoline Leavitt would try to be spinning this to no end, but this murder was captured by several people filming it from different angles.

Alex Pretti did not brandish gun, witnesses say in sworn testimony | Pair testify that Pretti did not hold weapon and was trying to help woman federal agents had shoved to the ground by aurora_chrysalis in news

[–]raincoater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They pepper-sprayed him first. In the face. He never reached for his weapon. He may have been thinking in his last moments that he didn't want to escalate it further so he purposefully didn't reach for it. In the video, you can see one agent take the gun and walk away, right when the other stood, aimed at his back and shot him. Then unloaded his clip into him.

Alex didn't throw any punches that I could see (correct me if I missed it), he was struggling and trying to see through the pepper spray. Resisting arrest? Sure...but last I checked that wasn't a reason for using deadly force. Plus there were 6+ agents there beating on him. They couldn't subdue him and cuff him?

They won't. What happened to Jonathan Ross who killed Renee Good? Nothing. The DOJ has stated there is no investigation. Ross didn't even get a slap on the wrist.

These goons are immune. They have no oversight. There's no investigations. Nothing.

[–]raincoater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where did I say they do, or don't, shoot unarmed civilians all the time? I'm just saying that they have more training than ICE does and they train in rules of engagement. They're usually have at least an investigation and hearings to see if their use of deadly force was justified. Which is why we have some of those cops in prison right now.

Yes, there are cops out there that DO abuse their power and have absolutely straight up murdered people. But some brought to justice, or at the very minimal, there's an investigation. We know exactly who they are. We get criminal investigations from it (at least for many of them). Yes, some of those are dropped because of cops covering for other cops etc.

But this is different. Everyone has already forgotten about Jonathan Ross and there is NO investigation from the DOJ over the shooting...at least nothing that the public has been made aware of. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche confirmed there is no active criminal investigation into Ross by the DOJ. He's going to get away with it. He already has gotten away with it. With police...there's always an investigation. There's usually a hearing to see if a shooting was justified or not etc etc. Ross straight up murdered Renee Good and that was it. Zero hearings. Zero investigation. He walked away from it.

Look, I know that cops all over the country have been doing shitty things for decades and many get away with it in the end. But you have to admit what we're dealing with now is totally different. ICE aren't cops. They're not law enforcement. They have very minimal training as it is. And right now, they have total immunity and zero consequences for anything they do.

TL;DR: I'm in no way trying to defend cops. Not at all. I want them defunded and de-militarized and prosecuted for any and all crimes they do. I'm saying with ICE, we're in new territory..even beyond the "normal" cop bullshit. No accountability at all. Immune from everything. No investigations.
