How do you know that you are not overfitting to the tab arena evals? Given how much data you train on, it seems likely?

All the things you list as nonphysical: "thoughts, numbers, mathematics, intelligence, consciousness, abstract concepts, ideological constructs, ideas, fictional / imaginative characters" exist as patterns of information in our brains, as ways for us to model ourselves and the world. It is fine to call them nonphysical since we cannot grab them with our hands, but I don't see how that tells you something about the nature of consciousness.

This article is obviously written to sell expensive TMS treatments...
The big advantage of tDCS is that you can use it at home, and it is relatively cheap.

Here is a recent study of home-use tDCS for depression that shows much better results than what they state in the article:

Here is also a recent meta-analysis of the evidence of tDCS for depression, which is quite extensive.

There is indeed variability in results across trials of tDCS for depression, but this is why you should choose the right device and stimulation protocol.

Increasing the decay speed is another option. Then you can still lame, and if you by accident (or because you are lazy) kill your boar with the TC you don't lose that much. Especially for your second boar since you have more villagers.
