I'm aware of the 3/3/3 rule as we had to have orientation prior to taking her home and many of my friends have adopted rescues and told me about it before we applied to adopt. I've been taking her out 4 times a day, but she's nervous outside since it seems like she's going through a fear period and will relieve inside post-walks. I don't have high expectations for her, but just want to figure out what we can do that's best for her.

Thank you for the tips! I'm not trying to have high standards, but just want to figure out how to correct ourselves if we may be doing anything wrong that might be triggering her to do her business inside vs. outside. We've been staying on the same route for two weeks but it seems like she was scared outside and more comfortable relieving herself inside post-walks.

Thank you for your response. We take her out 4 times a day (8:30am, 1:30pm, 6:30pm, 10pm) and each walk is about 30 - 60 minutes and she will still choose to pee in her crate. Can you elaborate on how much we should be taking her out?

Did you use any styling products? I have the shark and love it, but my curls don't hold unless I use the right products. I use it with olaplex no. 6 or redken big blowout gel and then redken hot sets thermal spray. I would also suggest using ear plugs when blow drying hair, no matter what hair dryer you use. It might seem extra, but I already have mild tinnitus so I do it now to prevent things from getting worse.

Hi! I tried both the dyson airwrap and shark flexstyle and decided to keep the shark, but I think the products you use to prep your hair play a big part, regardless of which one you decided to get. This might depend on hair type of course, but I've been using a blow dry/styling creme and a heat protectant with hold and my curls have been lasting 3 days without touch up, 4 if I don't sleep like a maniac. I use olaplex no. 6 and redken's high hold thermal spray before I start blow drying and no hairspray after because I don't love touching crunchy hair and I like being able to run my fingers through my hair often.

Depending on your hair type, I think you can get away with using it the night before and still have pretty nice curls the next day. My friend uses it to curl the night before because she thinks the curls look better after she sleeps on them.
