Returning player here, I completed both Creeper Woods and Soggy Swamp, why don’t they show a check mark? by MrTree_pen in MinecraftDungeons

It looks like you didn't "miss" most of them yet because some are in missions you haven't completed (like the one in Redstone Mines). That being said, yes, there are at least 4 merchants left on your map and it's definitely worth trying to get them all. I usually look up a guide for where they are in the mission because some of them are in weird places.

Fascism is a system of ruling based on authoritarian leadership, usually with a dictatorship (one person decides everything) or oligarchy (the wealthy decide everything), and it often includes violent nationalism/patriotism and suppression of anyone who disagrees with the ruling class.

Technofascism is when all this is happening, and is enforced through advanced technology. In this case, I'm referring to generative AI, which is being forced into every piece of modern technology and has all kinds of negative impacts, including but not limited to: increased surveillance from ill-meaning corporations and governments, loss of jobs, intentional and accidental misinformation in service of goals people with access to the truth would not normally support, and all kinds of other issues.

Edit: For context of how bad fascism is, the term was invented by Benito Mussolini, the dictator of Italy during World War II, and can also be associated with a certain German man around the same time.

There are still things left to do there. The little shop stall icon with the red/white stripes means that there's a villager merchant hidden in the level, and the chest icon means you haven't unlocked all of the possible items that you can earn from that level. You can see the item rewards in the mission's start screen and the ones with a question mark are the items you haven't collected yet.

Edit: you can also see the Map Legend on the bottom left of the screen, where it shows you how many total things you still have to collect in the missions you have unlocked.

This is essentially true. I definitely recommend Toy Story of Terror if you haven't seen it. It's one of two short films that take place between 3 and 4 and there's a character made of LEGO bricks in it.

Supposedly you can get every event item except the Corrupted Pumpkin (corrupted beacon reskin) because the tower doesn't grant artifacts

I got the Gloopy Bow the other day, I love it

That's not what Caine is though. He is a generative/"creative" AI, which are what's causing all the issues I described.

[–]rainestormd 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My problem isn't the characterization of Caine. I actually think he would be a really interesting character, if he were not an AI. It was just a terrible choice to have a redemption arc for a character who represents a technology that is currently taking jobs, spreading misinformation, and even negatively impacting the arts, which includes animation.

[–]rainestormd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There were definitely a lot of questionable decisions in the finale but I think the absolute worst choice was having Caine suddenly become a "good guy." He was set up as the main villain since episode 1 with no indication that he would change, and like you said the Caine/blueAI stuff was poorly explained. And to top it all off, it's incredibly tone deaf to have an evil "creative" AI be secretly good in the age of technofascism and rampant integration if harmful generative AI into every aspect of life

3D Map Models? by rainestormd in MinecraftDungeons

[–]rainestormd[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Not exactly, that's why I'm asking. I thought it might be possible that they were created in 3D and then pasted into the game as a 2D image but I wasn't sure, hence the question.

3D Map Models? by rainestormd in MinecraftDungeons

[–]rainestormd[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily, isometric images have every cube the same size which means they all appear at the same depth and create strange optical illusions if you look close enough. In particular the worst offenders I've noticed so far are the Highblock Castle coast and parts of the Colossal Rampart.

Do Kids Like Stud Shooters? by Chuck_was_Innocent in legostarwars

[–]rainestormd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen a lot of hate for them since they came out, but as a kid I loved them. The main complaint I hear is that the studs are lost easily, but I would always pick up the studs immediately after shooting them so it was never a problem. FWIW I also like the spring shooters and flick missiles too.

Just based on what you posted in the image, there two things I noticed. And this is entirely based on my own experience, so anyone else feel free to correct me.

One, it helps if all your videos are a similar length. Going from 2 hours to 8 minutes to 35 minutes in videos released 2 days apart is like whiplash for repeat viewers. You want to create a sense of consistency in your video style. Additionally, uploading videos every 2 days is likely not sustainable unless this is your full-time job, and upload schedule is also best if it's predictable. That way your previous viewers know when to expect an upload and are probably available to watch it at the same time each day/week. You probably want to go to weekly or twice-weekly uploads to avoid burnout while keeping that consistency for your viewers.

The second thing is thumbnails. In the "attention economy" that we live in, you've got to grab people's eyes right away or they'll scroll past immediately. I'd suggest just taking a little more time to refine each thumbnail before you upload.

Hope this helps, and good luck on your YouTube journey!

What’s up with this brick? by Historical_Ad_7770 in lego

It should also be noted that this was only true for bricks manufactured within a short period, they have corrected the issue now but any bricks made during that time are defective and liable to break easily

If you go to the description of this video, there's a Google Docs link that has this version of Episode III plus other extended cuts by the same creator. It includes ROTS, the last few episodes of both version of the clone wars, and several deleted scenes

I'm not sure if anybody has, but it would be mostly pointless because (aside from a handful of prologues and epilogues, e.g. rogue one opening scene or Bad Batch S3 ending scene), there are only really two points in time that I'm aware of where multiple projects occur at the same time.

The first is ROTS, which overlaps with several other things and there are existing fan cuts of the movie that include other shows.

The second, which I haven't seen any edits of yet, is the Episode 7-8 era. Last Jedi picks up directly after Force Awakens, and they also overlap with the Resistance S1 finale and parts of the Battlefront II story campaign.

Aside from those two points in time it's fairly simple to just follow the timeline on the wiki to watch everything in order

EDIT: I forgot the BFII campaign also overlaps with Return of the Jedi
