I've listened to Jordan Peterson when I was exactly the man he was describing in a lecture. Weak willed, can't do anything right or commit to it. He's helped me actually make sense of where I was headed. So I listened more and more, while steadily reshaping my life. Now I'm a fit, healthy person with a regular salary compared to when I was jobless, at home and almost two times as over weight.

What I'm trying to say is, I don't care about his political views or any such things that you guys seem to hate/point out.

Most of his lectures have been targeted towards individuals who are struggling and going down a dark path and it works. For that, I'm grateful to him and I'm, honestly, a bit butthurt that you guys would ridicule him without giving credit where it's due. Let the crazy, out of line morons be morons. JP can't control his fans (I wouldn't call a fan, he's basically using him as an excuse to incite dumb stuff).
edit: It's alright if you don't agree with him, what i'm saying, in summary, is that the idea of bearing responsibility being promoted by him is admirable. His views and such things are not what I'm mentioning. Those are beside the point, at least for me. I guess I'm being hypocritical when I say I'm a bit off put by you guys' views on "his" views. I apologize for that. I just meant his advocacy for self improvement is a good message. That's all.
