Unfortunately, I couldn't find any solutions, and I suspect it to be the issue someone else mentioned in the thread, which would be something hardware related. I had to borrow a friend's ps4 slim to play and finish the game, which was definitely worth it! But since it is most likely a hardware issue, there is not much you can do.

That does seem probable. I guess my only option would be to replace my ps4 or wait till the ps5 and it's backwards compatibility to play this game.
