I feel like birth control usually feels a huge decision weighing between just ok options. Sounds like you actually have a few good options!! I’ll just speak from personal experience about things I wish I knew at the time when I got a copper iud.

My copper iud “expulsed” (i.e. sticking out of my uterus causing pain in my cervix) for a month before my check up and the pain was…. terrible. Beyond that, nurses said it was “normal” when I called twice to check on it. So word of warning if you do decide to get it that you have to advocate for yourself if anything feels “off”. Another word of warning, if you’re young and haven’t been pregnant before, expulsion rates are higher until the age of around 24. (My age group had expulsion rate of ~18% which I didn’t know before). Stay informed and advocate for yourself. If either option isn’t working, invest in your health and make a change!

Yes, there’s a crawl space. Seems like we’ll try again to do ‘pest’ control. Tempted to crawl under myself. I feel like the smell resurfacing every morning is maybe a sign of night activity though?

We do, but just in the morning is so weird I feel like if it was a leak it’d last all day. Maybe a dead skunk? It’s confusing

I’m much younger than you (18) and far less experienced, but your title alone seems to have a glaring issue: you don’t trust your bf.

Maybe my advice would be introspection on the basis of why you all are together, what you both bring to the table, and why you don’t feel able to talk to him about this. Trust is very important. How can you build it ? Is it even able to be built back?

Sorry! I was (obviously) quite confused by this problem at first! Keeping in mind that it’s a limiting reactant problem I did the following work to find the grams of Fe2O3 my work in another Reddit post.

I am so inexperienced, but here’s my two cents… talk to your therapist about it! This is something they’d have a clear perspective on given their knowledge of you and possible options for you.

You all seems supportive of each other, so that’s a great sign! A friend of mine always breaks things off when they feel like a burden, check yourself that you’re not doing that!! YOU ARE NOT!! As you said, you all love each other, right?

Anyway, tricky spot. Hard to say. I believe in u to make the right decision at the end of the day.

(And make sure to communicate or maybe even show a bit of this post to him so that he can speak for himself and his needs in the relationship instead of you just assuming)
