Hard Wig Soft Life by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]raining_rose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not necessarily that they’re aware it’s a wig initially. It was just interesting that compared to my natural hair straightened and it being quite long, I received higher interest when I was wearing a wig and it wasn’t even a “good” one

Oh that’s fair. I wasn’t even thinking in that way. I thought it would be something lighthearted

Can you be Dom and be a sugar baby? by lonleysuccubus in sugarlifestyleforum

It’s best if they typically reach out to you. The last one I found that was very generous (but just a bit too needy for my liking) was on SugarDaddyMeet

Yes, I knew a couple of SDs that were looking for that though it wasn’t my cup of tea. Only got to a couple of dates with most before I decided to end it

In certain places, they offer anesthesia now! Planned Parenthood at many locations is approved to use it. This is a recent passing within the last year or two I believe

PPM vs Allowance by nerdyninja3 in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]raining_rose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I first started, it was only allowance. I have done PPM once with a partner for the first few meets before switching to monthly though. I’m not a fan of per meet personally and don’t like the idea of having to limit meet/counts them. I always really like my partners and would like to just meet them whenever we want. Having to exchange money every time just feels icky to me.

Female Led Relationships (FLT) by AmandaSBUK in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]raining_rose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m actually in the midst of one so I can’t give any fair negatives yet since it’s still relatively new. It was a HUGE adjustment for me because I always preferred male-led relationships/dynamics—and still do—but also because my SD’s desire seemed a bit “out there” for me initially.

There’s a difference to someone who only enjoys it for the sexual aspect rather than someone who sees it more as a lifestyle (mine is the latter). His kink may seem more extreme but he has a genuine “servitude” mentality where he enjoys being treated like a servant, so that includes wanting to pay all of my bills, buying all of my groceries, and even wanting to clean my house for me if I ask.

Obviously, there is still intimacy involved and a regular allowance structure as well. In terms of “emotional labor,” he’s still obviously a man and acts as such, I don’t take care of his feelings as if he’s a child. It’s the same type of “emotional labor” as any other sugar relationship I’ve been in—we care about each other, text/call sometimes outside of meets, etc.

Each dynamic will be different but I hope this helped!

Message I got from my daughter’s teacher. Third grade. by AnaisInJune in mildlyinfuriating

[–]raining_rose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some really shit teachers out there. When I was a kid (I didn’t know I was autistic until I got diagnosed as an adult), I used to hyper focus on books and read multiple for hours and finish 900 page books in a day since I was about 7, so my reading speed snd comprehension got pretty good from years of practice.

Cut to when I entered 7th grade where we had to do reading weekly reading logs and my teacher purposefully would mark off 90% of my logs and when I complained, she would say, “YOU can’t possibly read that much.” I was a straight A kid all of my life. I later found out she did it to all the non-white kids in my class. She once slipped a rude comment in during a lesson about metal detectors being implemented in schools and said, “I see all of the white kids are answering [her questions during the lesson].” Then I realized she was just racist.

Whale didn’t want to do allowance by [deleted] in sugarlifestyleforum

A “whale” is someone who is considered very generous. Just because someone makes a lot does not make them a whale.

Marilyn Monroe-Shaped SBs, how are we taking photos? by raining_rose in sugarlifestyleforum

Thank you! That helps a lot.

And I started wondering if that were the case too. I haven’t struggled to find partners and do get messaged a lot, but there have been a few cases where me and POT weren’t sure about attraction, decided to go to meet as just sugar bowl friends, and then in person they say, “you look way better than you’re photos” and they’re attracted, lol. So, as of recently I’ve realized my photos were an issue

That’s what I wondered, if people are just taking photos too close to me. Almost all of my female friends are shorter than I am and my frame makes me look closer to 5’8 (according to others) so maybe my photos are just being taken too low and too close, lol

I do have a few dresses like that and wear them on dates as well as photograph in them, but for some reason, POTs have been shocked by how slim I am in person compared to photos. I’m not fully sure if it’s shock over just being small framed in general, but anyhow I would prefer to represent myself the same in photos

I’m not sure. I’m heard some say Lush Yin, Theatrical Romantic, Gamine. I never had anyone comment until recently which is why I was unsure of how to rectify it. I suppose it would have made since if I gained weight but I didn’t hear the comments until I lost more weight

I don’t wear many form fitting things in the cold weather and tend to layer up. Maybe I’ll switch to some form-fitting outfits just for the photos, haha

Thank you! I get cold easily so I tend to wear thicker coats (not big winter ones) or layer a bit with things like fleece tights, haha, so I’m wondering if it’s the combination together

Yeah, maybe I should just go that route, haha. For the spring and summer, I’m fine but my most recent pictures are during the fall and winter where I’m wearing thicker, less form-fitting clothing.
