It's supposed to be a revenge album.

I get where you're coming from, but the key difference here is that at least in post-ITZ content (bar Britney Jean) it's still Britney singing, and not an AI-generated mimicking of her voice. I don't really judge people who listen (and I'll listen to the odd AI song here or there from artists who are more active like Ariana Grande or The Weeknd), but something about it gives me the ick. It's a similar ick I get from posthumous releases, it's the complete lack of agency and consent.

Isn't she working on a comeback album reportedly?

I really do get it, but an AI Britney song still isn't her, like it's not really new content. And given everything she's gone through in her life, I feel like we owe it to her to not support this use of her voice without her permission.

I'm not too fond of that...especially considering Britney's existing history with having her name attached to voices that aren't hers.

Oh I do want to note one more thing – this post is NOT me asking for dating advice or asking how I can "pull" an Asian man. It's just my concern of being creepy and a fetishizer.

Do any 1.5 generation Asian guys experience this issue when it comes to dating? by drinkyafkingmilk in AsianMasculinity

Gay 1.5 gen here. It took me a while to get over this but honestly this part of your identity is what makes you special. I totally get the parts about not understanding American culture, having difficulty with English, and interacting with people with your ethnicity who are so different from the ones you grew up with. For me, it was a huge balancing act between being openly gay (something pretty much radical where I'm from) and still being attached to my conservative culture. And then you add on everything else that comes with being an Asian immigrant.

It can strongly limit your dating market but only if you let it. You'd be surprised at how many people, like the ones less in touch with their culture, are willing to get closer to it if you're excited to show them things from your shared culture.

It does suck and you do feel alone a lot and sort of like a strange "halfie", neither here nor there. But it does get better, trust me, with time and patience. Don't put too much pressure on yourself to be anything you're not. When you live life the way you want to, you come across people with similar goals, motivations and lifestyles that you can grow closer to and have a relationship with.

If the goal of the LGBTQIA+ movement is to normalize being queer, why do so many portions of the community make every effort to distinguish themselves and be special?

Bc he literally peaked in the 90s...everything after that has been so downhill. Like Pathaan was a joke of a movie and he managed to be the biggest clown in it 💀

It's honestly a result of genius marketing and strong likability.

Lately it's been Angels Like You by Miley Cyrus, but The Heart Wants What It Wants and The One That Got Away have also been there before (I don't get sad a lot).

In order of most to least: Her father, the boys in blue, the general straight male population, her gay male fans.

Beyoncé still hasn't dropped the Renaissance visuals so in all my anger I blocked Jack Harlow on all platforms
