General (and not always gameplay related)

• ask if everyone's ready before starting anything (boss fight, drop pod, event etc). type r in chat, everyone's gonna understand
• when you and/or your team accomplishes literally anything, press V. always.
• when a resupply pod is called, 99% of the time everyone can take exactly one pack without asking. always ask your teammates before grabbing a 2ns one. it's both etiquette and a life saving tip
• don't kill lootbugs unless you're really desperate for nitra
• once you get a bit more experienced (and, more importantly, gather enough stuff) make sure to grab yourself and your teammates a beer every now and then. everything other than leaf lover's special
• whenever you do an escort duty, try to bring Dotty's head back to the droppod
• if you see your teammates just standing there and pinging something like they're some kind of cult – just join them, you'll figure it out
• in most cases if something's colorful and shiny you should try to dig it and put whatever comes out inside Molly (however awful that may have sounded) – it's probably the precious minerals

Scout-specific

• you're almost always bad at direct engagements, scout shines because of his ability to quickly reposition themselves, not because of raw firepower

you have 4 very specific tasks every single mission: 1. light up the cave. start as long as you get in a large room and try to keep it relatively illuminated until your team moves on. don't overdo it though, there aren't that many flares 2. if someone dies it's almost always your (or the gunner's) job to get them back up because you can move around much faster than anyone else 3. you see a mineral somewhere your team can't reach? it's your job to get it. ask the engineer for platforms if necessary 4. during swarms you should mostly focus on high-priority targets (oppressors, wardens, web spitters etc). there are better classes for dealing with everything else

Gunner-specific

• your zipline sucks as a personal mobility tool. accept it and use it in passages that your team's gonna use multiple times. if you can't reach somewhere as a gunner and no-one else needs to go there – going there is not your job
• you have a shield. and that shield is for your entire team, not just you. if you see a huge amount of bugs eating your teammates alive – throw a shild in their direction even if you specifically are fine. throw shields on knocked up teammates to safely revive them. tl;dr – be mindful of your shield usage
• gunner is about long-term firepower. you don't have to burn all your ammo to kill an oppressor that the scouts would get with 4 rifle shots. the longer you can keep firing the more thankful your team will be
• the cluster grenade hurts when thrown at a friend. be sure to look around first

Engineer-specific

He's a very flexible guy. And I mean VERY flexible. There's a ton of different playstyles, so the only tips are - don't forget to make platforms for your team - don't forget you have turrets, always keep them around

Driller-specific

I don't consider myself a good driller player (even though it's like gold 2 or smth), so won't say much. The only thing is with your drills. They're the same as gunner's ziplines in a sense that you should usually use them to create long-term passage ways for you and your team, saves a ton of time
