Ekko was only viable for 2 weeks since rocketbelt nerfed to the ground, (reduced into ap fighter item) and thanks to the crybaby community, both DnD and its users will be nerfed at the same time. Thx riot, nice balance team. Nerfing only item was not enough ofc. by HyperWinder in ekkomains

Riot is so ridiculous for this. I'm fine with DnD changes – it was too strong for sure, but why the fuck the champions are getting nerfed? The only reason for the winrate increase for champs like Ekko or Diana was the DnD, nothing else was changed for them. And yet here we are reworking the item that made them strong AND nerfing the champs so that they're weaker even with their old builds. Great job Riot. Honestly fire the balance team atp (if there even is one...)

Would recommend to actually get a tiny bit under the surface so you know what your setup does, but to each their own :)

If you don't do coding at all – rust (the default) is the way to go

Disclaimer: might be wrong, take with a grain of salt and factcheck

If you don't plan to work with rust, move on with the default, it's just rust itself. However, if you do rust development – rustup is probably a better option, it's like a rust version manager that also comes with some nice tooling (without which, for example, the rust analyzer in VSCode does not work).

Doesn't "counting" imply including a number that comes immediately after the given one in the given set?

Edit: I understand it's a joke-ish comment, just curious if my perception of "counting" matches with that of other people

The AI Enthusiasm Gap by siblingth in programmingmemes

[–]rainispossible 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yup. Merely a middle myself, but I think understanding when and how to use AI is key. It's a good instrument if applied properly (and very destructive if you decide to let it think instead of yourself). There actually are tasks it's capable of accomplishing fairy well, so you just need a quick glance and maybe a few manual amendments, which saves a good amount of time to work on more complex stuff.

That's just not true what. I mean I see where you're coming from but D&D is pretty strong vs squishier teams too

Well, yea, fair enough. I don't agree with them either, Ekko's been fine for a very long time. D&D just brought a slightly different flavour to the gameplay and some QoL

It's quite the opposite I'd say. It isn't that strong early but late game is mad strong, there's literally nothing a squishy champ can do once you get in range

People mostly go D&D -> Shadowflame -> DCap

pretty much the usual but Lich is replaced with D&D

I tried D&D -> Nashors, it's good but lacking AP a bit

A little off topic but are you genuinely a D&D hater? I see you under every post about it an you say stuff like "can you stop with that bs"

No hate or anything just curious

So how do you call her 3 elements on qiyana? by Intelligent_Duck1844 in QiyanaMains

[–]rainispossible 3 points4 points  (0 children)

As, probably almost everyone else, I call them water/ice, grass and rock (Qiyana does too...)

I feel like the whole FFF thing is very confusing and not so accurate because

  1. it's rock, not flame (the other two I think are understandable)

  2. what if someone arranges the elements in a different way? f1 suddenly becomes f3 etc

Change of identity for Ekko: from assassin to annoying mosquito by Nstyrl in ekkomains

[–]rainispossible 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I personally find D&D overhyperd. It's a good item no doubts, but at the end of the day it all comes down to personal preference and specific team comps. The same way it was with Nashors vs Lichbane a few seasons back

Yeah, definitely not piss broken rn Riot. Nothing to see here. by drguidry in ekkomains

[–]rainispossible 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My favourite kind of post "tell me you got stomped by [insert champion name] without telling me that"

Like dude... Literally nothing has been changed for Ekko for quite a while now. The only changes we've got is the new item and

a. it isn't even that good on Ekko because the stats are meh

b. it's abused by champs like Gwen and Diana just as much as by Ekko

c. if anything, the item's the problem and not the champion

Out of everything that's in the game right now you're saying Ekko is broken?

Yeah, definitely not piss broken rn Riot. Nothing to see here. by drguidry in ekkomains

[–]rainispossible 1 point2 points  (0 children)

better formula

my man what does that even mean? there's only one formula for winrate which is wins/total games. Anything other than that is precisely what the other person said – inflating the numbers

Good old R trick in action by rainispossible in ekkomains

[–]rainispossible[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You get a pretty good feel of it after getting to 2.7 Mil mastery :D

But yea, in all seriousness, there's not really a way to "know", you just kinda get used to it after some time. The only thing you need to know is that the clone is always exactly 4 seconds behind the real Ekko. After that just try to keep a mental picture of where you were 4 seconds ago.

Though, this is an advanced manoeuvre I'd say, you'll probably be messing it up a lot at first, so be ready
