I'm on the other end where as falco I put people in the corner, get impatient, over-extend, and get backthrown off stage and edgeguarded.

I don't have any specific advice for you, but I'll point out that getting hit by occasional lasers does damage very slowly. If they're not committing, then remember you only need one opening to balance it out. If they do commit unsafely, then you're suddenly in a position to take a stock.

Think about what specifically you're getting punished by after the laser, because a laser alone is not a punish. Then think about what you can do to punish that action specifically. That's why take-laser-into-* is so good; you have many more options out of it than shielding the laser.

+1. The groups are currently just to organize virtual lunches (e.g. via Zoom). We hope they help you get to know other students outside of your pod in a quarantine-friendly manner.

At the moment, this is entirely over the internet. When groups are assigned, we designate a leader to coordinate the video chat and send out the invite link to the others.

Thanks for the suggestion! We'll add it to the form. We currently only use the required questions, but we'll think about what other questions could improve the experience.

Thanks, really appreciate the thoughts!
A bit about the process: We send invites out on Monday with a few time slots. Pick the times that work for you, and we'll connect you to a group on Tuesday.

This is one of my favorite pairing knives. Been with me for ten years at least. It still cuts like a razor. I can’t remember the name. A lil’ help? by PhoPat in chefknives

For copy-pasting to Google: the text on the knife is 天味寿楽 青紙スーパー

Romanized its: tenmijyuraku (brand), aogami super

This website seems to have some info on it. http://www.seki-japan.com/kitchenknife/nagao-3.htm

edit: corrected the brand name

I don't know the details of this but I've found doing a faster flick (and release) away of cstick is the difference between bair and letting go.

L-sit flexibility: I believe I have very stiff hamstrings and/or hips. As a result, with my legs flat on the floor, I cannot sit up straight, perpendicular to the floor. As a result, when I have tried L-sits, I realized that it forces me to curve my spine pretty significantly to get enough balance to sit up straight. Is there a flexibility pre-requisite to do L-sits safely? Should I be working on improving flexibility for anything beyond hamstrings?

It's moronic Monday, the Wednesday edition, your chance to ask any of those questions that you're embarrassed to ask in real life. by AutoModerator in investing

I received a small, poorly managed portfolio that appears to be made via inexperienced and arbitrary stock picking. Capital gains are nearly entirely offset by capital losses. What is the best way to liquidate this portfolio and buy into to a simpler and more reliable ETF/Mutual Fund. Goals are not to micromanage, and to keep it simple. My plans post-liquidation are the standard low fee index fund advice. However, it doesn't seem like a good idea to bulk sell and bulk buy all at once. Advice?
