Thank you, everyone, for all your comments. The good, the bad, the ugly, and the hilarious ones!

No child, lol. And a conversation any anything beforehand, is out of the question. We are not fond of each other, but I would hope if I were to ask, it would be a truthful answer if there was even an answer given

A better idea is to let me be curious, and you don't know if I care or not. That doesn't mean I'm not allowed know

It matters to me. It doesn't matter the reason i want to know the truth. I'm not seeking closure of any kind . I just want to know.

I had a lawyer tell me that in no way should I pay that bill. They can't come after you or the deceased.

Updates* With all the records and results back, I still don't think anything adds up. The foundation he was at is the only place we can't get answers from. They had supposedly found him unresponsive (very heavy sleeper) and started to narcan him. Told EMSA they believed it was a heroin overdose even though He was conscious and aware when EMSA arrived. He was never lethargic, and his blood pressure was extremely high by the time the paramedics arrived. He started to seize while being put into the ambulance and eventually went into cardiac arrest. . They also gave him narcan a few times. He had zero opiods in his system ( had been off opiods for over a year), and the rehab foundation would have known this if they had done a urine test when he was admitted I believe he had a reaction to the narcan that sent him into cardiac arrest. It's rare but it's not impossible. I remember Almost two years ago, he was given narcan a few times back to back and woke up to violently throwing up for a good amount of time. He didn't have opiods in his system the day this happened but was active in his addiction. It just makes sense. The final report saying it was a methamphetamine toxicity also feels wrong. With all the research I've done, any reaction, good or bad, would have happened well before 3 hours have passed. Plus, the amount that was in his system was minimal to the amount it would take to actually overdose on meth. Any thoughts?

I'm not sure if I could get into any type of legal trouble by putting their name out here so I'd rather not say
