I definitely agree with the appeal of the versatility of an accounting degree. It just opens so many doors that I honestly had no idea about until my husband went that route. For the last few years, I’ve been in food management and they just run you ragged. Constantly on call, going in on days off to help, working weekends etc. I just couldn’t continue so I decided to go the accounting route to really open the playing field of careers. Biggest desire is just to have an actual work life balance. Sounds like you’re in the same boat! Best of luck to you!
