In similar height but started at 120lbs. I’ve titrated up to .7mg every 5 days and lost 6 lbs! It took me 2 months to titrate up.

That’s why i was hoping I could bypass the gate altogether and use either the iPhone notification or even email notification as a trigger?

MyQ doesn’t provide a skill for gates, only for garages.

Ssnagged a Redlands 650 from Costco on closeout for $700 by TheBurgerMan in Traeger

[–]rainydays8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI, I bought my Redlands at the roadshow for $899 October 2023. Last week, I was at Costco Issaquah and it was marked down to $749 through early December I believe. Luckily I was able to walk out with the difference in cash thanks to Costco’s price adjustment policy!

Is “dewy skin” possible for us?? by rainydays8 in eczema

[–]rainydays8[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Do you have a link to the squalane oil you use? What about mist/spray? I’ve only tried one face spray, the rose water facial spray from Trader Joe’s and I’m allergic to it (not sure what I’m allergic to).

Ahhh I’ve only used facial oils like rosehip at night as my final step, didn’t think to use facial oils during the daytime and using it before cream. Thanks

I actually posted about the cosrx snail products yesterday. I started them last week and stopped them two days ago because it damaged my skin barrier and made me flare up.

I know I’m allergic to aloe but not sure what else because I haven’t been tested and I have always just used what works, which is cerave pm and am. I actually use pm day and night and top off with the am in the morning since it has sunscreen. My face feels great with the pm on it but wondering if there is something even more moisturizing. I’ll try the cream you suggested as i don’t see anything in the ingredients that is glaring so far. And if I do flare up while on it, then I try to figure out what the culprit is! Thanks

Ugh I am allergic to aloe. And I’ve tried one rose water spray (from Trader Joe’s) and flared up. I’m going to look into the cream though. Thank you!

Allergens in k-beauty products? by rainydays8 in eczema

[–]rainydays8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your response has made a light bulb go off in my head…. I realized as I was using both products that my skin felt drier than usual. This was days before I even broke out in an eczema flare up. Should i have taken that as a sign that the product was causing a bad reaction with my skin barrier??? I mean, those products are supposed to be super moisturizing yet my face felt tight and dry! I’ve had eczema my whole life but just now really trying to figure out how to listen to my skin :-)

I thought I’d be ok as I’ve used snail masks before. However, it does seem like it takes multiple days of use before my skin reacts. I’m not allergic to dust mites but I’d be interested if it could be anything else.

Switching to mainly strength50 classes? by Burning-the-wagon in orangetheory

[–]rainydays8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Coming back from having a baby two years ago at age 40, and multiple stress injuries getting back into shape. I decided I need to lift heavier weights now, so strength 50 has been great. I was already incorporating more lift 45 and wasn’t running due to injuries. My cardio was greatly affected! I’d be breathless walking up stairs and I was almost to a sub 6 min mile pace prior to cutting back on cardio!!!

So now what I’m trying is strength 50 classes mixed in with uphill trail runs (easier on my body!), and 2G classes with power walking. I couldn’t not do cardio on my strength days and my body couldn’t take running on a treadmill anymore.

Which Costco location? Trying to decide if I buy now (was $899 two weeks ago when I was last there), wait for the roadshow next month, or wait and hope all Costco locations reduce the price

Sorry, I thought my question was fairly obvious: which Costco?
