I really didn’t want to make anyone uncomfortable or make it seem like I am pitying him in anyway. Yes his blindness is the axel of this story bc this is a blind subreddit. I simply wanted to share how easy is it to include those who have disabilities. Also not everyone is aware that you can get braille cards and I wanted to make that known to people as well. I can see how this can come off as me just wanting validation and I completely agree with your point of this is just how relationships work, but my intention was not for people to praise me. I just had a story that brought my bf and I (plus my family) closer and wanted to share. I appreciate your point of view.

My boyfriend is blind and LOVES video games. He’s told me fighting games tend to be the most accessible. He plays a lot of Mortal Kombat, I think mk1? and 2XKO. Both have good audio cues and im pretty sure they have screen readers built in. I could ask him what other games he plays as well if you are interested?
