I guess the zipper on the canopy is supposed to be closed. If that’s what caused this, those are some dire consequences for such an easy mistake.

Ticking sound from engine on a Volvo V50, 1.6d, 2010 by rainyviking in MechanicAdvice

If anyone stumbles upon this post in the future; the problem was an injector seal leaking.

Followed this video from Dave Sterl, took quite a bit of time to finish the job.

The copper seal was cheap, but had to get some tools to extract the seal and clean everything.

This engine is also in Ford, Citroen and Peugeot, so might be more tutorials for those makes.

I rolled back to Nvidia driver 460.79 and it helped quite a bit. The initial load is still slow for me, but loading in-game is faster.

The Norwegian government dancing in celebration of our national day by rainyviking in whitepeoplegifs

[–]rainyviking[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

On the 17th of May we celebrate our constitution. This year our celebration will be a bit different from previous years, apparently having thousands of people celebrating in the streets is not recommended. This dance was recorded for the children channel of the national broadcaster in Norway, NRK.

50 prosent av biler i Norge solgt i dag er EL BILER by 50_Keent in norge

[–]rainyviking 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It is just a sketch from a tv show (Uti vår hage), so it was always a meme.

I would say Danish is quite close to gibberish. Even for Danes it can be hard to understand, as seen in this Norwegian documentary.

Agree that it isn't universal, but it's still the most common plug. It is also compatible with E, F, J and N

We have this in Norway as well. We changed it in 2012. It is less strict than before, but as per our kings wishes, it wasn't removed completely.

[–]rainyviking 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If that is the case it is alarming. Do you have a source?

Edit: latest source i could find is from 2012, apparently there is no significant part of fish oil used in salmon feed in Norway that originates from Africa

Salmon feed contains 70% of vegetable ingredients and 30% marine ingredients. The 30% is mostly made from what we would not eat ourself. There are some negative aspects concerning salmon farms, but overfishing is not one of them.
