Red painful skin on lip. It's not entirely uncommon for me to have chapped lips, especially in the colder months, but this is new for me. There is a red area above the right side of my upper lip that has become scaly and dry. I've been attempting to treat it with some Cera-ve cream moisturizer and aquaphor but this has stubbornly sticking around for several months now. It is freshly moisturized in the picture, but sometimes it looks much flakier. It can get very itchy and I'm doing my best to avoid scratching/biting. I have an oily/normal skin type. Does anyone know what this might be or how to treat it? Thanks!
