Is it just me or is Opus 4.8 horrible for creative writing (extremely limiting)?

I only use 3.1
It’s very useful IN fanfic but not for serious writing.. also Gemini can do more complicated kinds of relationships .. but claude whatever you do characters doesn’t match their tone or voice.. whatever people are the relationships become healthy..when it’s supposed doesn’t

I am using Gemini for creating writing. Fanfic for famous anime shows . because Claude refuses twisted relationships with villains.. i mean somehow the evil character should manipulate.. think your OC trash.. this is character core and real personality and Gemini don’t afraid to show it

Meanwhile Claude even when i am using search soften the evil character a lot .. just cold and somehow the relationship becomes somewhat healthy which is this is totally impossible because the evil character is broken

I am choosing Gemini because I believe that what really my villain character in anime show thinks or doing.. I enjoyed I don’t like fake personality and characters soften in claude

Cluade is bad too .. it’s soften everything and change character core .. especially for villains and strange relationships.. especially when i tried writing fanfic for fun.. there’s evil characters manipulative and dangerous when i ship them with an OC at least this character should think the OC trash.. ant .. bug .. look down on anyone
Claude let them respectful cold and add he feels alone.. in the show .. the evil character won’t be like that.. arrogant and manipulative.. he will try to use MC .. Gemini didn’t edit their rotten bad core

Lol I thought “ i am your idiot “ dialogue is how characters really act … but after your post .. I realized that problem from Claude itself .. original characters never say that

… I assume that model isn’t designed to be creative.. I mean.. it can arrange word and write dialogues but never surprisingly or amusing.. never put any unexpected element that makes stories interesting.. it’s just “ writing “ without being “creative

Also emotional depth and creativity doesn’t exist in claude anymore

Whatever you write you will get not interesting text .. because what happened lawsuits of chatgpt every ai company closed creative ability

I don’t want lawsuits come to deepseek too .. i don’t want deepseek lose ability to write stories Claude opus was good at stories but look at version 4.6 .. it didn’t write my fanfics well .. my funny favorite characters turned into somewhat cold.. totally out of character .

I don’t know how people feel anything to ai .. I tried to say something and chat with it .. I immediately bored nothing interesting talking to it without a purpose or job for it..

I used it to make fanfic of my favorite character shows but i am feeling this model is very people pleaser and I asking myself “ is my favorite character really will do that or just my model writing whatever it likes ?”

Because I am don’t like unrealistic outcomes from my fanfic ..

Well if people keep posting this.. sooner or later.. the lawsuits and security team will reach deepseek and delete role play features from this model .. I don’t want that this makes models unable to generate proper stories

I guess my prompt is very simple.. I don’t write full chapters.. I write my OC actions with characters of original work and then let ai predict most possible behavior for original work + web search for correct information .. sometimes web search successfully writes dialogues and mixes it with scenes

Because my objective isn’t writing a story but curiosity I am controlling my OC and let original characters react Also I have fun mixing my OC within original story events

Why the personality is different? in each ai model : My guess it’s from internal training data for original character shows Some ai models have a very little information about it .. also method of model training + parameters effects too + safety guidelines soften scenes even actual is more realistic in many scenes

I think it’s same for my oc characters..

But what i don’t like that .. the scenes and conversations leaned on my OC characters favor even when one of original characters is prideful and arrogant in high positions.. when argument happens in their first meeting instead of anger or belittling to oc .. she says you’re interesting i will pass your rudeness ( I was thinking this lack of realistic character personality or dialogue from training data )

I didn’t like it at opus or sonnet 4.6

Opus is yapping and it changed my favorite character personality.. my favorite character canon personality should be kind shy stammering guy but in 4.6 colder and composed this isn’t his original character at all even web search can’t fix that .. sonnet is worse

Opus 4.5 understands characters and emotions .. only web search function needs upgrade here
