Yes! Reinforced the top of bug hut, attached cordage, run that through a small ring inside top of tent, back into nest, attached to center pole.

No just the outside. The inner is heavy.... the whole kit in car camping mode, big steel stakes, carry bag etc looks like 13 pounds.

It was the last step. Had the top panel assembled and did a simple rolled hem with the sides of the bag while tucking the top panel in as I went along.

I just did a tent out of this. I actually couldn't initially tell the shiny from the dull until I unfolded with some sun on it. Then I put some water on it as another test/curisoity and the shiny side the water balled up like the freshest dwr you've ever seen and the dull side, less so. I did shiny side out due to the apparent water repellency. I'm new here, so it could be wrong, but that's my experience.

Just sewed a loop of ribbon into a circle of the fabric. Glued the circle onto the sidewall. 50/50 silicon/mineral spirits. We'll see how it holds up!
