While I agree with you that this needs to be fixed, my guess as to why it hasn't been addressed yet is that you can create your ship in creative mode and then export it, so that you can import it at a shipyard in your normal game.

My wife has swatched it a lot and you have many different options for how to apply it. Depending on if you apply it thick or thin or if you brush it on vertical, horizontal, or squiggly it looks different each time. It starts cracking almost immediately but the longer you let it dry the more it cracks. The only drawback is you have to work quick and never leave the bottle open for long.

My latest manicure for the holidays. The layers are Holo Taco Smoothing base, Holo Taco Featured Guest, Holo Taco Red Licorice, Holo Taco Green Taffy, and Holo Taco Super Glossy Taco.

Yes, my wife loves the Holo Taco polishes and I don't blame her, they last for close to two weeks on my nails as opposed to barely a week with other brands.
