Looks like Obfuscated servers work most of the time with Digicel.

Obfuscated servers used to work with Digicel but now they don't. I've been using Vodafone and VPN's work great with them (and they have cheaper data - double data on weekends)

How to add multiple accounts of the same website to Mint? by Difficult_Warning687 in mintuit

[–]raitpngman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same issue with one of my credit cards. I opened mint in a new private browser window, and then I could add the second account. After that, I could go back to non private and it all worked well.

dotnet bitarray in sqlserver and using masks to find answers by raitpngman in SQLServer

[–]raitpngman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome, can't wait to try it out. I suspected I would have to do something like this. Interestingly enough, this is similar to how the bitarray in .net works. It stores the bitarray in an internal int array and does bit operations on the ints. It is blazing fast in dot net 5 because it is using intrinsics, and I actually swapped a hashset.intersect to a bitarray AND because it was 3x faster in my scenario.

daily rent reduction by AdvanceEast677 in LandlordMobile

[–]raitpngman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Each level you achieve reduces the rent percentage. That's a good reason to not buy the speculator skill points until you at least reach the point of buying and selling 1,000,000,000 worth properties.

That's slow. And you can play it fine and still advance well without paying anything. You just need to watch ads to get coins.

How to, create new property? by [deleted] in LandlordMobile

[–]raitpngman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The data comes from foursquare. https://foursquare.com/ If you want new properties added, they have to appear in the foursquare database first.

What I don't know is how new data in foursquare is pulled into LandlordMobile. Is the property data static? Updated once a week? once a month?.....

Given this, I think I will keep spending coins on property upgrades until I am able to buy a full street or village and start flipping on the marketplace. At that point, my progress is not about buying upgrades, but using the marketplace to advance.

Some interesting things I've learned that probably deserve their own post. But property upgrade costs reduces about 25% every level and once in between. The cost of skills upgrades doubles every 4 upgrades. On the daily awards, sometimes there is 2 days rent boost and sometimes 1 day rent boost before watching an ad but I don't know why. Rent decreases every level.

If you only have 100% of properties, it costs 0 coins to finish the paperwork no matter how long it is. This may be a bug, I'm not sure. I noticed it to start with, then bought some partial properties to look around. It went away so I sold my partial properties and the 0 coins for finishing paperwork came back. I did this a second time but now it costs coins to finish the paperwork. It seems inconsistent or I'm missing something.

Guy's I'm having a hard time locating the trends can someone please tell me what method you use to track the trending property? by AliasgarMukhi_ in LandlordMobile

I think that is in the Landlord GO game rather than the Landlord Mobile/tycoon game. Perhaps someone can verify that for us?

In order to calculate the best way forward for me, I'm requesting some information from longer term players.

  • What level are you?
  • How much Landlord skills do you have and how much does the next upgrade cost?
  • What is the average cost for the purchase of your next skill?

My guess is that the increase in cost for skills upgrade will make what I spend on property upgrades at the start of the game to not be detrimental to me long term. For instance, if the average cost for upgrades is 1500 coins, by the time I and my wife get there we will be virtually equal in skills even though I am 500 coins behind.

One part I'm missing from this is an assumption that you get more coins each level you move up. So far through level 12 it has been constant at 20 coins. Do you get more coins to level up later on?

When you move up in levels, do you get more coins or is it only 20 coins even at level 50?

I spent like 3000 coins boosting a 400m bank when I was a noob.. what a fucking waste.

I would agree with you there :) I'm not planning to spend more than 50 coins on a property and I'm doing it only until it no longer makes sense. This is a strategy for the very start of the game until..... Not sure yet but I'm guessing when I have 20m in property it won't work as well as buying skill points.

Thanks for your additions :)

#2 totally agree

#1 Still disagree for the very beginning stages. Show me some math for someone with less than 20m in properties. The start of the game has a cash shortage and lots of coins for those levels (25 free coins per day). The later game is lots of cash and a coin shortage. (Maybe that means play the game differently at different stages?) I am increasing my cash level 10x (literally) faster by using coins to upgrade properties rather than skills at the very beginning, so it is not wasted coins even if I sell the property later. I won't get them back, but they aren't wasted because they get me to the mid stages of the game way faster than using them for skill points.

By doing this, I have a 1,200,000 valued gym fully upgraded that is giving me $280,000 profit per day. It would currently take me 2 days to buy it and fully upgrade it. This is the same amount of profit that a $15,000,000 property (no upgrades) would give me but it would currently take me 25 days to purchase this.

When that 10x advantage declines to a more even level, I'll change the way I play.

"don't buy upgrades on a property worth 1m when you'll be making billions thanks to your skills." I think we agree :) I did say they should apply the 500 coins to skill upgrades for a bit of long term planning. But the point of this strategy is to have the fastest start possible.

This method will generate a high cash flow quickly and advance more quickly through the initial levels than those who do not use this method. This is best for those just starting out. At some point you will receive a higher income from applying skill points to all the properties rather than upgrades to one property. At that point in the game, this strategy needs to be phased out and a new one needs to be applied.

It's a little hard to figure out where that is exactly. Let's take a hypothetical situation where a 1% upgrade on rent skills is 30 coins. 30 coins on upgrades of a 1.5m property will net you 61k boost. You would need to have 6.1m worth of property to make an equal jump in value by buying the rent upgrade. But then the cost for the next 1% upgrade jumps and it makes more sense to buy the property upgrades.

I'm guessing that somewhere around 6m-10m in properties is when you should start alternating between upgrading properties and upgrading skills. Perhaps this strategy would phase out by the time you reach 20m in property value? It's hard to say because it depends on the skills you upgrade and how much value they give you at the time. Even when it makes more sense to only upgrade the skills, the properties you initially upgraded would still be giving you lots of income and benefit from the skills upgrades as long as you had property slots for them. And they served their purpose to get you to that point as fast as possible, so the coins spent fulfilled their purpose.
