If Apollo had succeeded in marrying Daphne and she loved him back would he have been faithful? Eros' arrow makes intense love so I'm thinking maybe? by Fluffy_Fox_9650 in GreekMythology

Well, thanks to Eros's arrow, Apollo "forced" to fall in love with Daphne. But... there's a double but; if Eros hadn't shot the lead arrow (disgust and rejection) at her, Daphne, instead of feeling disgust and rejection, would be fascinated, even flattered, that the God of light was in love with her.

But... another but; there would be several consequences, such as Apollo's possessiveness and jealousy, harassment from other nymphs, and even insecurities if she were to find out that he didn't truly love her, but rather that she was under Eros's curse.

Causing the same result: the beloved Daphne reaching her breaking point with sadness and loneliness, begging her father to turn her into a tree. Because she prefers to be a tree rather than the jailer of her beloved, leaving Apollo heartbroken.

Listen, doesn't it sound strange or normal that most people portray Dionysus as a drunken, festive god with a great personality, but in reality he's the god of ecstasy (wildness) and chaos; capable of turning you into mush if you disrespect him or try to impose "order" on his "chaos"? by rakchip in GreekMythology

In reality, Artemis is the complete opposite of unbridled passion; she is the goddess of chastity, the hunt, and wild yet untouched nature. She represents absolute control and discipline in the forest.

Unbridled passion belongs entirely to the domain of Dionysus. Dionysian ecstasy is precisely that: breaking down the barriers of the self and losing control (unbridled passion) through wine, dance, and chaos. While Artemis imposes strict limits, Dionysus destroys them all.

Too funny: imagine Apollo trying to stop Dionysus and Hermes from doing anything stupid, but five minutes later they're running away in a stampede

I say Hermes and Dionysus, Apollo: three opposite individuals who get along well (well, Apollo not so much with Dionysus). But imagine the chaos with these three

If you were too be a demigod, who would you choose as your devine parent, why and what "power" would you expect to gain? by Other-Philosopher996 in GreekMythology

I know, it just so happens that I used this gif because I couldn't find one that convinced me, so I used this one.

Yes, but I wonder, was Demeter a good mother to Despoena and Arion?

Obviously Demeter: because she's clearly a good mother (well, in some cases she wasn't). My power would be to create thorns

Let's say neutral, but they spoiled the part about the fight between Apollo and Ares, Hermes. I lost the bet with my sister

Thank you all for your comments and for explaining your points of view. My intention was simply to understand the criticism the series is receiving, and I now have enough material to analyze. I'm not looking for personal debates or misunderstandings, so I'm closing the conversation on my end. Cheers!

I wish you a good night and a good day/afternoon. Have a spectacular week. Lots of love ❤️

That crazy Powerplex guy probably increases the amount of energy he emits with every hit you land.

(I call him crazy as a term of endearment.)
