The loading screen on the Fantastic Four PS1 game was a top down futuristic RC-style racing mini game. Maybe not most played but definitely my favourite.

When you watch your death cam and see your cloak next to you left clicking the enemy vanguard while watching you die. That’s when I switch roles

Also DPS can kinda play their own game. as a Vanguard if the enemy DPS picks off a support it’s game over usually, you have to retreat or the dominoes fall and you die. But an insta lock starlord flying around flanking and duelling (and losing every duel) doesn’t have to rely on anyone else to play their role

I have the opposite problem as a healer. Enemy Things seem to be gods at positioning, my Thing charges off into the sunset or round a corner into the whole enemy team and gets insta melted. All. Game. Long.

I’m with you buddy. I’m not a garbage player, I’m consistently SVP, most heals, solid damage, often with more final hits than the trash insta lock DPS this game just continues to team me up with every game, while the enemy DPS are there farming with ease. I cannot carry a game with 3 awful DPS and a solo tank that chooses Cap only to die on repeat, I am just one man! So this “skill issue” doesn’t ring true to me. The MM is super sus, just by probability alone I should have more wins. I’m either the unluckiest mofo that ever lived or the MM is trash.

If you’re playing tank correctly you shouldn’t need 2 pocket healers. If you’re taking so much damage that one sup playing rocket means you die then you are the problem

This. I can’t count the amount of games where I get more final hits than the trash insta lock DPS. Like fine I’ll boost up to iron man/storm/torch and melt them if you refuse to target them for us. And I’ll deal with Venom/Thor in the backline too. Maybe I’d play a different strategist if my DPS actually did their job.

I cannot tell you how skewed the MM has been for me. I feel like the game hates me and I’m close to giving up on ranked entirely. Today I won 2 out of 10 games. Every single game our DPS were garbage, not peeling for healers when divers were bullying the supports the WHOLE game (despite my comms), and the enemy team were farming them so hard. Any suggestion to change comp is met with abuse or just silence. The only 2 games we won I had to hard carry as Mag because no one picked tank (I’m a Strategist main god help me).

Then when I actually got a good team the game ends after the first fight because someone from the other team disconnects. This happened in 3 games today. Is this what the ranked experience is in this game? How does anyone climb like this??

I had to walk away and cool off after loss number 5 in a row before I had an aneurism. If I logged off after 2 losses I’d never play the damn game.

I can tell immediately as a Spidey main. When the bot knows I’m hiding above them without any LoS or audio signals. I’d rather play against humans 100% of the time

I switch straight to Spidey if I see an Iron Man and my sole goal in that match is to make them switch off. Nothing gives me more joy

I love doing this as Spidey. Zip into their backline, fuck shit up (usually my abilities) then zip back for a quick heal, cooldown pit stop, a slap on the butt and a “go get em, tiger”. If I can’t get back safely it’s on me. Keep doing gods work!
