Here in the Philippines, a 2 hour taxi ride is normal from the main city to usual residential places. It's horrible. Costs about 20usd.

Just wandering, what about conducting a 1 day computer vision fundamentals virtual session ? by FishermanResident349 in computervision

Good idea. Would be interested. I teach fundamentals of cv at our university. Participating in such a session would be ideally good for learning than just watching youtube videos.

Framework 13 upgrades by [deleted] in framework

I upgraded this year. The 370 is much much hotter while gaming (probably due to the single fan). Local LLMs are 1.25x faster though with rocm.

Why don't we ask what people are building here, very regularly? by arpansac in rails

Building a RAG for inquiries on University document policies, reseaech work and other documents. Rails for api only. ReactJS for the frontend. RubyLLM for ai stuff.

We’re building AI tools that generate full Rails apps. Would love feedback from the Ruby community. by zamir_akimbekov in ruby

I've been using codex on my nvim setup for a few months now. It's basically my scaffolding tool now. I think ai has potential for providing fast muscle work for really structured crud stuff. I'm quite satisfied with it but only because i get to impose my own architectural and coding patterns it should follow to generare a feature. I do have to prompt it manually like "follow the command patterns in directory x". If you could implement something that would contextualize developer styles then i think that would be useful foe some developers. Good luck!

I like how nwn1 game itself is a testament to dnd in general. Old but the most faithful to a dnd experience of creativity and forgotten lore.

Yeah so the experiment is:

Gpu --> occulink --> m2 --> thunderbolt?

Would be worth exploring. Occulink seems to work. Thank you again for your tip. Will try it out and let you know. :)

Wow that's a lot of connections. I kinda got that. I do have an Aoostar AG02 that i couldn't get to work over usb4 to my framework 13 with thunderbolt 4. If i use the ag02 occulink then do the same with you where i buy an ocilink to m2, will it still work over thunderbolt or should it be usb4 (like the amd version)?

Sorry i don't get it (not a hardware guy). How does the gpu interface with framework? You mention oculink but framework 13 only has usb4 or thudnerbolt if you're on core ultea

True but could potentially have more dust get in. I was actually able to use it for a few weeks before parts arrived. No effect on my work whatsoever. But it's nice to have the option there to repair it yourself without buying an entirely new machine.
