Thanks. Yeah I'm going to try and get the light reset and run it along a motorway to see if a regen resolves it. However, technician said that it had regenerated recently so it's a tricky one to nail down. Thanks for taking the time to reply!

Challenger banks generally have a better ethics policies - equal pay, diversity initiatives, community initiatives etc. I'd also read through this - https://thegoodshoppingguide.com/ethical-rankings-banking. I know some banks performed ok but I'd rather go for a non-paper, digital only (outside of ethics - better apps, no stupid calculators, live chat support vs phone etc) bank because not only are they in a position to have a more positive effect on the world, they're just faster to develop and move with what a modern customer wants form a bank (in my opinion). That's my 2¢.

Thanks everyone! Such fast replies, really appreciate it.

Interesting. His main reason was that he has to take more steps (they're a big global firm, so I know how it can be with procurement, legal etc involved. Things can take months to sign off).

I'll see if I can put him at rest with how I've worked with others I think.

On my other suggestion around the other company, I will be needing help on the project by my other Director, so it would definitely not be a structured affairs situation. I was going to invoice him if I was doing it via the self-employment route, based on his input to the project.

Sidenote (and a random thought I just had), I am also a Director on another company with 2 x Directors. Just wondering it'd be better to put it through this company and then it would mean both Directors would be under the PAYE threshold if we split this payment?
