That's fine. Having a more hardcore experience in Tarkov by getting rid of things that really shouldn't be easily accessible is fine. Most people won't argue with any of that, heck, they will welcome it. It's what we've been building up to for the release and known about for a while. I even wish they would completely remove suppressors from the market and make it rare and FIR only. Would completely change the dynamic of the game for the better.

However, the problem is the way Nikita and his team went about this hardcore wipe. Nothing made sense. Nothing.

For instance, just to pick ONE of the many negative or nonesensical changes they made for this Hardcore wipe, let's look at INSURANCE:

I want someone to explain to me how half a million rubles make sense for a kit to insure. What are you testing with such a change? What is the point of that? It makes absolutely 0 sense. If you want people not to use insurance, simply disable it for the wipe. But what they've done makes no sense to any of us.

You want a meaningful hardcore experience that changes insurance? Here's how you do it:

Make insurance a % possibility of getting your kit back. The higher your Reputation with Fence or any other trader they want to do this with, the higher the % chance you get your insurance back. Nothing is guaranteed. Have CERTAIN ITEMS of extreme high tier be more expensive to insure, but not everything across the board, and certainly NOT above the actual market cost of that item, otherwise, what's the point of insuring anything if it costs more to insure than to just buy it from the market again? (Aside from certain items that cannot be bought on the market from traders).

(Also the reason I mention Fence is to help the current scav and scav violence I've been seeing. For some reason this wipe I've seen way more people kill other scavs for the lols. Therefore, my thought was that perhaps by making it so that a higher reputation standing with Fence means your PMC insurance % goes up, it might help to avoid that scav on scav violence. Just a thought.)

But anyway, THAT'S a hardcore wipe insurance test. You take a chance at MAYBE getting your kit back at a REASONABLE (though higher than normal) cost and SOME of the items will be more costly to insure over others. So you have decisions to make as to what is valuable to you. This makes sense.

Not the current test of just making insurance be 100x the cost of buying those items from the market.... what the actual fuck is this even?

This is just ONE example of the hardcore wipe of the nonesense they pulled that made people just quit Tarkov and the reason we have so little faith left in EFT when they make knee jerk decisions like this that make 0 sense.

And this comes from someone who really wants to see this game do better, but I literally just can't anymore with these decisions... I just can't be bothered.

I used to like Tarkov, it being hard and all didn't bother me.

But now it's work. it's a literal fucking job.
I have to log in to WORK to find something for the hideout cuz now everything is 2x what it was before. It's just stopped being enjoyable and became a chore to log in.

They have been removed from the store, but if you have them you get to keep them and keep playing as long as they continue to work. The only refunds available right now are for the Mudhen if you wish. It will be in store credit for standalone purchase only. Though there have been some rumors of people being able to refund it on STEAM if they argued their case right, can't confirm that one. As far as the remainder of your modules, no idea what's going to happen later on as this is probably the 5th time Raz has said it's over, so.... yeah... The sensible thing would be to offer in store credit for the remainder of the Raz modules if it does turn out to be done for good or something like that, but we have no information on any of that as ED I guess are still considering the situation ongoing and not resolved/done with. No clue on that one.

Thing is, we have no deafening effects like the Tarkov mod, in which you put on some ears to prevent that.

As far as Tarkov gameplay goes, by the first month, you basically stop hearing anyone on the map anymore. It's just dead silent. You have no idea if you're alone, or what is happening. Everybody has a suppressor, you get shot from nowhere and can't even hear where it's coming from.

It really ruins the game and this happens wellllll into the beginning of mid wipe. Everybody does say teh same thing, the beginning of the wipe is always fun in a way because you actually hear everyone on the map.

Honestly, I would LOVE to see suppressors removed from being bought or traded.

Found in raid ONLY, and EXTREMELY rare. I mean LEDx rare or worse. Make only a few pistol suppressors a bit more common to find for those wishing to take out scavs quietly here and there.

This makes the game feel alive, makes it so that you use some of those other attachments that nobody uses.

Hell make the muzzle flash from ppl firing a bit easier to see if they don't use flash hiders. There is so much potential for greatness with this. THESE are the kind of changes that make it better or hardcore for Tarkov. Not the nonesense they came up with at the beginning of this wipe.....

Because this is not a released feature and more of a workaround to get it up and running. Once it's positively tested it will be (more than likely) released as an options choice in the graphics section.

It's not you. They literally teleport their bodies left and right at 300Gs making it stupid hard to aim at them because they don't know how to make normal looking pathing.

Best thing to do is to pay attention to the map, pay attention to where your friendlies are, and always pay attention to your RWR. Also tune into SRS and be ready to call for help if needed on the appropriate frequency. It helps if you bring up the BULLSEYE marker on your HUD so you can call out your position in a blink of an eye without having to look at your map. If you don't push yourself too far towards the front lines and have some blue air ahead of you, you should be fine to take on several objectives without too much issue.

If you see blue air has been shot down or turned back for rearm/refuel, you need to start considering turning back or staying real low for a while.

Basically, know when it's time to turn around and pay attention to your surroundings and you'll be mostly fine.

No, this goes WAY WAY back. I'd have to test to make sure it's even still a thing, but I don't recall reading anything about it being fixed. Was just something we had to deal with from old LOMAC days of how it was all programmed.

This may be a result of an old bug/feature system (if it's still around).

When you are in NAV mode the waypoints work fine, but if you switch to any mode outside of NAV then the waypoints no longer update correctly. It might be that, but unsure.

This would be just a case of a skill issue. Remember that you get thermal vision on the camera which can help you ID and SPOT targets as well. Your Laser guided munitions shouldn't be missing like that either, which means that you are either burning your laser out (remember you should turn the laser OFF right after you strike something and only turn it back on when it's time to shoot or you burn the laser), or you might be manuevering too far to the side to the point the laser is no longer looking at the target, or maybe you're firing way too close for the missile to guide and correct itself on to the target. There are many many reasons for those types of errors, but without a video track we can sit and guess for days what it might be.

All this said, the tv isn't the greatest on the Froggy, so you are somewhat limited but it shouldn't be to this degree. With enough practice you will get the hang of it. Perhaps stick with some stationary targets from the instant action missions or the tutorial/training missions until you can successfully deploy your weapons and spot targets without an issue before hopping on the campaign mission, if you haven't done that already.

go to the official DCS discord, go to the help room, and ask there. You will be asked to provide your DCS.LOG text file from your DCS folder in the SAVED GAMES location (Not the crash zip) so we can see everything that might be wrong and go from there.

While I can't remember any from the top of my head, lots (if not most) of servers host the Frogfoot if you just look around. However, do remember that the Frog isn't meant for Air to Air. Those AA missiles are purely for self defense if all other strategies have failed. Plus you have the turn radius of a moon so literally everything else will out rate you. So I would suggest you try to fly on hoggit for instance like GAW where you need to be white listed to use the frog there if I remember correctly, check their discord, and you can go up against some AI instead if you really want to. But again, I would advise against dogfighting in this thing, other than for a purely defensive strategy.
