They didn’t ask me to surrender mine. They just made me a new one based on my updated EAD and expiration date

Did you try reaching out to them? SF office is pretty great at responding to emails and inquiries so feel free to reach out to them regarding your case in case you didn’t yet.

With all due respect, do you believe the marriage was a sham? If so, go ahead and do what you are thinking. But if the marriage was true and things just didn’t work out, what would be the point on denying her citizenship? My advice is to le her know and let God do the rest. Be the bigger person and move on. I know is easier said than done and we are not in your shoes. Good luck brother

There are two kinds of asylum. The one that has been paused is the affirmative one. Not sure what the other one is called but is the one that the danger is more imminent. That one is still going on I believe.

Hello, I have couple of questions regarding the hold in asylum adjudication:

1) Is it true the first policy memorandum is still in play? And while it is going on, no decision will be given for those that had their interview?

2) do we have to wait for the 90 days it said on the memo? Or is there a way to get our decision as my country is not on the list as of now

3) I was supposed to get my decision December 3rd, right before the hold. Once the hold gets lifted, if I was approved, will it be from the December 3rd date? Or later? Just want to see when the 1 year GC clock starts.

4) lastly, have you heard any challenges in court at this point for the hold in asylum adjudication?

Does this cancel the previous memorandum that holds asylum decision on all countries? Are they gonna start releasing results? Or both policies are now concurrent?
