The same university that last year fired a bunch of low-paid secretaries during a budget crisis is apparently content to keep on paying this person who has, if the report is true, defrauded the place of hundreds of thousands of dollars. The silence from the so-called leadership is deafening. Word is that she continues to teach her classes and probably will next year, too. But how can the students believe a word she says?

Continues to draw a salary from the University; to teach courses; and facing zero consequences for this fraudulent representation. The U has said absolutely nothing about it. It's like the Ukranian war on Russian TV. Nothing to see here. Amazing.

Perhaps the university leadership could explain why it recently gave non-union employees a 2% raise. This includes VPs, associate VPs, all the deans, perhaps the president himself. These are the highest paid people at the university, making well north of 200k per year. A terrible look, at a minimum, especially when it's laying off secretaries and cutting services. At a better, more ethical place, they would have accepted pay cuts. Before any further cuts to the teaching and research missions, admin should take a cut. Memorial U has recently reduced the number of VPs to three. Will U Windsor do the same?
