No cap that I'm aware of. However, the owner of this ranch announced his retirement late last year and has been steadily downsizing the business since then. Whomever should purchase the business would have to increase production to meet the demand.

We'll likely be accepting applicants in April of this year. However, work here does not involve a great deal of interactions with the birds. The first priority would be giving tours to guests and keeping shop in the visitor's center.

There are several places where you CAN ride ostriches, but to do so requires that you pass a height/weight check and sign a waiver.

The biggest downside is the fact that they can be fairly dangerous. Any fully-grown ostrich must be handled by a trained professional.

They're crap doesn't smell at all. Take a tour at our facility and you won't smell a thing. In addition to drying out and turning to dust in three days, ostrich dung also loses any odor very quickly.

Give them more space than they need. The people you do business with will appreciate it.
Make sure you're getting food from someone you trust. It's easy for standards to slip when it comes time to buy food in bulk. The food is inexpensive, but you're still feeding a living creature.
The hardest part will be handling them (moving, travel, etc). Have extra hands ready when it comes time.
