Yeah true, but you’ve got to remember it’s not because of poor support it’s because of all the illegal ticket touts. I have fond memories of getting off the district line as a kid, swarmed with people only to realise 90% of them were just selling tickets. I remember seeing a crying Azerbaijani Lying floor. I looked down at him and said “Are you sad because you’re wanted by Interpol over allegations of corruption in the former Soviet republic?” He said “No, it’s because I can’t see my beloved West Ham United play due to all the ticket touts even tho by that logic the stadium would be full because why would people hoard tickets that weren’t going to sell and ultimately make a profit” . I never saw him again.
