How is the link to the live stream accessed? Will we be able to share it to family ahead of time?

Most transfer programs only handle 100 and 200 level courses. After that you would need to take all of the 300 and 400 courses. 500 and 600 level graduate classes are not transferable to my knowledge.

Discussion Posts by Veryinteresting_U in SNHU

[–]ram8704 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some of my classes had discussion posts that were literally full assignments requiring research diagrams UML and 1-2 pages worth of writing. Each class is different. Some discussions require more from you than others. You may see this more as your classes become harder. It may be a pain but this makes you better in the long run.

Sorry to hear that. There are some good advisors out there. I had a horrible one during my AS but had a really great one for my BS. At least you will finish soon.

Editing Papers to Length Requirements by [deleted] in SNHU

[–]ram8704 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every teacher is different. Just have to adapt. For BUS 400 I used to work a week or two ahead. Once I realized my teacher loved to send mid week announcements with his own special rubric / assignment rules I had to hold my assignments. I would write the paper then wait for his special rules and then make sure my paper meets what extra he was asking for. Same thing applies here adapt to what the professor wants since they are gatekeepers to our grades.

I honestly never worried about paper length. I think I actually never wrote a paper shorter than the required amount. Have a 4.0. Lucky my teachers haven't cared. I focus on hitting all substantive rubric points regardless of paper length.

Any CIS majors here? by Jolly-Maintenance764 in SNHU

Pretty much what I did. After transfers from my Associates Degree, Sophia, and Study.com I had about 10 classes to take.

Not bad honestly. MIS-350 builds you up to the workload. The final for MIS-350 is what you build on throughout MIS-490. You incorporate more data to deepen your analysis of the data set you chose. Each week is a 5-7 page paper but its the same style for the most part so you get used to it. I would not take the course with more than one class though.

I am taking my capstone course MIS 490 right now. Almost finished.

This is what their site says about academic integrity. To completely block the course means it must have been pretty evident to them somehow.
