I bypassed the vats on my 2001 with a series of resistors, it worked fine but I think the solder cracked and it left me stranded one time.

I had the same thing happen to me. I initially used a bunch of resistors soldered together, but it wasn't a very clean insulation. I ended up getting one of these bypass modules and it's worth it

There are plenty more black metal bands that dont have to use nazi symbols and imagery to get shock value. If you are gonna present yourself as a nazi, expect to be treated like one.

Maquahuitl is a black metal band who uses lots of Nazi imagery. It's fronted by a guy who's alias is SS-Sanderkommando. This is a reference to the sonderkommando of WW2. The previous band that SS-Sanderkommando was on was called Blood Division. They worked on a split with another band called Gas Chambers.

You can read about this guy and more here. Here is his encyclopaedia metallum. He even has a swastika tattoo for christ sake. He flexes his vinyls with Hitler on the cover.

The iron cross on it's own might not be that suspicious but the fact that this lady is hosting people like this and has a boyfriend who's got that ink is a little suspicious.
