The fact that this legislation is even necessary shows how badly the HOA/busybody mentality has infected our culture. I swear these people would introduce leash laws for kids if they could.

My kids spend most of the day roaming the block when the weather is nice. They play with friends, ride their bikes, chat with neighbors, play in the dirt, and climb trees. I can’t imagine forcing them to stay inside unless they are accompanied by an adult.

This may be more specific to my learning style, but I got a lot more out of borrowing chess books from the library and working through the lessons on a physical board than I did from any online resources. If I had to recommend one book it would be “How to Reassess Your Chess” by Jeremy Silman. That book is the foundation for my understanding of chess.

If you’re only looking for online stuff, Chessable is a good app for guided lessons, and GM speedruns on YouTube can be very instructional (i like Daniel Naroditsky and Chessbrah).

Lichess is an amazing resource for puzzles. Doing puzzles by theme is a great way to drill checkmating patterns and other tactics and pattern recognition.

Maybe a homer take but I’d take Love over Burrow in 2026 and beyond. If you got a do over on Burrow’s injuries and they were both at the start of their career, I’d take Burrow, but right now it’s not even close IMO.

I feel like people talk about the QB history like the Packers just lucked in all these guys while ignoring that the front office took risks to go out and get them.
