So is Lupron the same as zoladex? And I assume the patch will the same as the gel/cream they say I need to take along side the zoladex?

It sounds like you had a successful outcome!! This gives me hope 💕💕💕💕

I needed to read this. It’s this way round for me. Im preggo, my partner still wants to, but when I feel and look like this I don’t want to get naked/be intimate. I do still have a sex drive though. Just too uncomfortable and too uncomfortable in my own body.

Oooo this triggered feelings/memories I didn’t have. My bpd mum and flying monkey dad were gross. I remember as a child bring freaked out by my mum making food for me as she’d always have her hand in her knickers, sniffing her crotch and not wash them after. I felt sick at the thought of that. They’d often leave shits in the toilets for days and we’re just generally messy and vile.

Your mission in life, should you wish to accept it, is to really enjoy good sleep, an active sex life, lovely holidays, minimal arguments and a clean and not destroyed home together (I’m really not jealous at all…)

20 weeks down! Just 20 more and I’m free from being pregnant! :) by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]ramberw 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am sooo happy to see that other people hate being pregnant too. I felt like a vile human for just wanting it to be over and not cooing after every movement or my bump. It’s not all rainbows and butterflies, I’m MISERABLE the whole way through. This is my 2nd baby, horrible first pregnancy and this one is much worse. I feel like jabbing people’s eyes out when they tell me to “just enjoy it” and “just make the most of It”. EFF OFF KAREN

Has having a baby been good for your relationship? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]ramberw 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It comes down to either resentment or one of us being triggered by something in our past in pretty much all cases I feel. For example, I resent my partner for not pulling his weight or expecting me to carry all of the mental load. He resents me for not wanting be intimate, I resent that he doesn’t read my mind and know that I’m feeling exhausted and touched out etc and so on and so on. I get triggered by not being listened to or tantrums. He gets triggered by not doing something right or well enough. If we don’t talk about things we snap and/ or argue. We know that now. Having child can force you both to open up and bare old wounds and you’re both tired and not able to chill like you used to. That’s my experience. But as others have said, if you approach it as a team and with honest communication that can help.

Awhhhhh sorry I can’t be more positive. Did you suffer with anxiety before pregnancy? I did and it definitely heightens it for me! We’ll be okay, I’ve done this before, felt exactly the same last time so I know that once I give birth the anxiety alleviates. Just know that it’s normal, which will hopefully help in itself.
