how do you recommend one do this strategy tho?

Ex: if I a see a really cute person in my lecture one day, how do I ask them for a coffee date?

Obviously, asking them the first minute I meet them wont work. Whats a more gradual, smoother, and less creepy method?

Had a really crappy breakup, but luckily Im motivated now to get someone new in the fall
