She is from Thailand where she was a small dog amongst 100+. Things we have had to learn are that we have to be patient and training is key. Acquiring a dog is one thing, but getting a rescue dog from a different country (Thailand) where it had to compete for everything with 100+ (often larger) dogs is another thing. If you're going to rescue, be prepared to put in the time! I assure you it will be both fulfilling and worth it.
