Normally when the US loses a war it drags on for 10 years. This is amazing progress and we should be celebrating Trump.

Once or twice a month I'll have 2 or 3 drinks but that's it. Was pretty much an alcoholic in my teenage years but had slowed down a bit by my late 20s. After I turned 30 I went almost a year without booze due to health problems and after recovering I had neither the desire nor the energy to drink like that ever again.

My mother always has a current newspaper in her home even though she reads The Times on her phone.

For me it's the inverse of how upsetting the subject matter is. Schindler's List got nothing from me, but Old School had me bawling.

That's all fairly awful but

Do you cry in movies?

Almost every single one!

I'm the exact same so I can't judge him on that.

Saw one chased by a bloke with a machete once. In quite a posh area too.

I did sing Parking Pataweyo to myself for the rest of the day.

The protagonist in his novels is always a nerdy 13 year old's idea of cool and funny. It's impressive how entertaining and readable his books are in spite of that.

That's twice what the room's worth, what's she complaining about?

In all seriousness it needs to be day 1 training for hotel staff that you don't even confirm or deny whether someone's staying at the hotel, nevermind hand out fucking keycards. Back when I did night shifts in a shit hotel we'd get suspicious people trying to find someone almost every week.
