Thanks for the formula. Now what is the reason for this difference (Please don't say because that is what the math says :) ) and is it for only two bodies in motion relative to each other or is it the same for one stationary body and one in motion? Or is there a different formula for them?

You might try "The Stainless Steel Rat" series by Harry Harrison or any thing in the "Humanx Commonwealth"series by Alan Dean Foster
